1970 Ford Mustang Description

1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302, Vin #0F02G169739. Marked "Special Paint Unknown" on Marti Report, and Bill of Sale, but appears to be what I call Ford Medium Blue. I know of no way to guarantee the exact color, i.e. Whether it is actually special, or "one of one" etc. ....but I do guarantee the paint to be original to the car....Black deluxe interior. I have EXTENSIVE documentation, including Marti, Bill of Sale, Warranty card, build sheet (damaged), Buck Tag and complete ownership history, and a BUNCH more. DRY CA car, one family owned from 1970-2014. Even has the quite rare trunk mounted emissions setup on the fuel tank IN PLACE. 65k ORIGINAL miles. Equipped much like I like: Flat hood, No rear spoiler, Decor Group, Console, Clock, Power Steering, WR Transmission, 3.50 open rear end, AM radio, Tinted glass, Sport Deck Rear Seat, and Evaporative Emissions as it was a CA car., Tachometer. Car sold in 2014, and I missed it. I told the buyer if he sold it to call me, he did, and I bought it last year. I installed lots of little things it needed, but the previous owner won a stack of trophies with it as it was! I pulled an aftermarket alarm system out, put the original hubcaps and wheels back on the car with a new set of Goodyear Polyglass tires, installed correct spark plug wires and hoses, repaired and replaced the Heater core (was blocked off when I received the car), tuned it, set the valves, purchased the correct gas cap, fixed a blown high pressure hose on the power steering pump, replaced the radio speaker (works perfectly), and rebuilt the tachometer and had it re-installed. and other things which I have documented with my receipts. NO car is perfect, but this is an awfully nice example. Condition: body has a few fifty cent piece sized dents, and a scratch across the fender stripe on the passenger side....I do not know if they can be pulled without paint work. As previously mentioned, NO RUST, ever. Has Ford marked mufflers! Paint, as original, is awfully good for this old, but it is thinning in places, to be sure. Interior is quite good. No rips, or tears, Very presentable. Fold down seat great, original seat belts with FOMOCO tags. Mechanical: Drives out VERY well. I believe this to be a matching 4" bore car! I guess I need to pull the pan to know....drives well. Tight. Steering responsive, with NO excessive play. Koni shocks feel fine. Motor pulls nice and hard, and honestly, drives out better than ANY Boss 302 I have been in with 3.50 gears. The Boss 302 likes to rev, so they usually like a shorter rear end ratio. The Wide Ratio transmission does help with that shorter first gear! Gents, (and Ladies!) they are only original once. If you are looking for a nice ORIGINAL car, this one is it. $77.5k. I am not trying to make money, but I am doing my best not to lose any either. Call me at 214-507-9441 if You have serious interest. No emails please. Car is in Dallas, near Love Field. Inspections welcomed, and encouraged! I have absolutely nothing to hide, and have bought and sold many cars. I know what it is like to have unexpected problems. I work VERY hard to avoid that, especially when selling a car. I will be here to answer questions AFTER the sale also!I am selling ALL of my older cars, (1970 Z-28, AC Cobra, 1965 K code Hipo Fastback GT) and this one is arguably the best....it is certainly the most original of the older cars. Original paint, decals, interior. Please look at my other ads. Thanks again for your interest.
P.S. I will post undercarriage pics when the weather allows. The undercarriage is spotless.
I have just photographed the undercarriage. Gas tank appears original, as does the exhaust system. Incredible.
