PERFECT CANDIDATE FOR RESTORATION
1967 Ford Fairlane convertible Description
1967 Fairlane 500 convertible garage stored for many years. This is a fairly solid car being sold with no reserve that, with some time and effort can be an affordable daily driver or go the restoration route without breaking the bank. The 289 has a fresh Holley vacuum secondary four barrel (unsure of CFM), headers, fires right up,runs and idles, lot drives. The brakes need attention to say the least, tires are old. The black seats show no rips, tears or much wear, Fairlane GT door panels are useable, dash pad is cracked as most Fairlanes of this vintage.Power top works but frame has damage from a fallen tree to a part of the frame as well as 1/4 window broken on driver side.Windshield is good. Most if not all trim is with the car, not dented or beat up,door handles and tail light bezels have usual pitting.Rear 1/4s have had previous amateur body work, floors have had patches welded in, I've seen much worse, it seems someone put in quite a bit of effort to the best of their abilities the to save and enjoy this car at some point.Trunk floor, core support, shock towers and front frame rails are solid, rear torque boxes have been plated and welded I can not tell if this is due to damage, rust repair or previous owner "fabricated" battle boxes to "hot rod" the car, strange since the rest of the frame rails are solid.A spare hood is included. The clear title is showing 24,000 actual miles I would assume not. This is a 49 year old car and as such is being sold AS IS WITH OUT WARRANTY. Feel free to ask questions, local buyers are welcome to see the car in Akron Ohio. Buyer responsible for any and all shipping fees, insurance, etc. Car nor Title will be released until any AND ALL FUNDS ARE PAID IN FULL.$250 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction ending, Payment in full within 7 days.
