1962 Ford F100 Unibody Truck
1962 Ford F-100 Unibody Description
Very good condition truck with unique large curved back glass window. Appraised in 2010 for $8000. Has some rust on tailgate but works fine. There is some bondo on the front hood. It was like that when I purchased it. 223 straight 6 cylinder motor that runs good. The guy I bought it from said the motor was rebuilt with approximately 1000 mileson it. That was about 1500 miles ago.Starts every time. Has a new clutch and pressure plate recently installed. 3 speed manual transmission shifts great. It looks like it's had a paint job since it was new. Newly redone interior. Clear title. Extensive maintenance record dating back to 2000 includingnew brakes and hoses.Horn doesn't work.Drivers side has a zippered door pouch. It needs a set of cab towers installed. I purchased the cab towers and have had a respected body shop give me an estimate of $1000 to install them. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this truck anywhere. Cruises good at 60 mph.Very reliable.I also have a shop manual for the 1961-1963 Unibody that goes with it. For an additional $1000 you can buy a 302 AOD motor and transmission with fuel injection that I thought about putting in it but never did.
