2004 Ford F-150 XLT TRITON Description

This 2004 Ford F-150 XLT Triton is truly a gem. With less than 59,000 ORIGINAL miles on it, the truck is still fresh. It was used mostly as my vehicle to give estimates, and it was rarely loaded with any weight over a few hundred pounds. I never drove it over 70-75 miles an hour,tops, and the truck was never in an accident. I bought it new in "04, at a total cost of just over $30,000. I got accessories including the $1000 aluminum ladder rack, factory bedliner, and cross-over tool box. I had the dealer drain the oil before I took posession, and had them replace it with synthetic oil instead. (They thought I was absolutely nuts!). They say synthetic's good for between 5 and 10 thousand miles, minimum, but being a mateninence nut, I had it changed with Synthetic every 3,000 miles. I've also had regular maitenance and diagnostics done at the same intervals. It was just fully detailed for about the 5th time since I've owned it. The truck has been pampered, just like our other vehicles, and teated like an investment, not just transportation. The body is mostly in excellent condition, with it's original paint still brilliant. There are 2 small key marks on the passenger side between the door and the back wheel, and two small dents on the tailgate. The rear bumber has been slightly mishapen from bumping into something like a bollard. All of these issues are very minor, and could undoubtedly be corrected by a professional at minimal cost. I left the driver's side seat cover in place to allow the new owner to either use it to protect the pristine seat, or uncover it to match the rest of the bright interior. While it doesn't have all the tech equipment (gagets) of the newer models, it is still one of Ford's best. This model consistently ranks high in surveys of Ford F-150 owners on styling and durability, even after 13 model years. A comparablely equiped 2017 F-150 tops in at close to $40K. For $30 grand less you can get every bit of truck that the new one is. That's a down payment on a house. A new Ducati. A Ducati 1100 and a 1300 BMW RS, with money left over! Just a thought. This really is a great chance to own a one-of-a-kind truck at a very reasoneable price. Pick up only in North East Philadelphia, 5 minutes from rt 95 and Cottman Avenue.
