2001 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door Description

For sale is a nice 2001 Ford Ranger XLT Supercab. It has a white exterior with gray cloth interior. It has 4 doors ( 2 half doors open to the back compartment), power windows, power locks, tilt steering, cruise control, a sliding rear window, 2 jump seats and a Pioneer AM/FM CD player with Bluetooth and a USB connection. There is a removable tail gate extension rack that folds up inside the bed when not in use, or when the tail gate is down, it can be flip over to make an extension of the tail gate. It has a clip on each side for easy removal. It is light weight. Plus it has a bed liner. This great little Ford Ranger has approx: 121,000 miles. It is a little less than that but I rounded it up. The drivers side power window sensor or something was just replaced. It was $300 worth. The oil was just changed so it is fresh and ready to go. I use motor oil designed for a high mileage engine. There was a new battery put in it last month.
The truck has a Gibson Performance Exhaust on it and has a nice little rumble to it. All 4 tires still have plenty of wear on them and the breaks are in good condition well and have no squeaks to them. The tires probably have 10k miles or less on them. I put two new on it when I first got it because there were two new ones on it. I have used this truck for about 6 to 8 months to do a home rehab project. Now I bought a little convertible and do not need the Ranger anymore. I am not selling this truck because there is something wrong with it!!!!!
This Ford Ranger is a solid truck and runs great with no mechanical issues I am aware off. I would drive it anywhere in the country with no worries. It is a solid truck. I had the transmission serviced a little while back just to make sure it was done. There was not a problem with it. I did it because of the miles and I just wanted to make sure it had been serviced. Plus I had the truck gone over to make sure it was in good shape and running condition. The interior could use a good cleaning but it not real bad. It is a 2001 and has normal wear and some coffee has been spilled on it. A set of 60/40 seat covers would do the trick if you wanted. I jump in it and go myself. I was going to get some but the local store did not have 60/40 seat covers.
I wanted to point out that this 2001 Ford Ranger XLT Subercab has a few scratches on it and a few dents. I tried to take a few pictures to point them out. Above the windshield and on the roof of the truck is a spot where the paint has peeled away. Please see the photos. As you can see from the photos, the truck still looks great. But there are some scratches and little dings in it that you don't see in the pictures from a distance. Like on the bumper. There is a little tear on the plastic strip on the bumper and a little dent. A few dents on the side of the truck. Nothing major like a fender all pushed in. I just like to point them out.
One thing I noticed about the truck when I bought it, and I had it check out to make sure, but there is a rev limiter on it. So you can only rev the engine while in park to like 3300 RPM's. When you are driving it, the truck shifts like normal at higher RPM's but it will also only allow the truck to go approx: 92 miles an hour. The truck has plenty more power but due to the rev limiter, it will only allow you to go so fast. So if you like to drive over 92 miles an hour or like to rev your engine up real high while idling? Then you will need to have it removed. It is not a problem for me.
***There is one issue I know of and that is the back passengers door does not open. It just happened when I took it in to get the oil changed. I went to open it and it broke and would not open. I had them look at it and I was told it will cost around $300 to have it fixed. You need to replace the two cables that are inside there. If you are handy you can do it for a lot cheaper. I fixed the window motor or sensor and left that alone. There are 3 other doors that work and the passengers seat does slide up so you can still get stuff back there.***

If you have any questions? please e-mail me before bidding. I tried to describe the truck to the best of my ability and I am sure I missed something. But it is a solid truck and does not need any major repairs that I know of other than that one back door. The oil was just changed last week. I have been driving the truck back and forth to a property which is 3 hours one way and the truck has driven great and the AC works fine. I tried to get into detail a little bit since you are not here to actually see it, I tried to tell you everything I could think of. And I am sure I missed something still. But nothing major for sure.
The Buyer is responsible for handling shipping. I will help however I may but I have not shipped a car and I have no clue what it cost or how to do it? I am sure I can find a company if you need me too? I do know a few people who work for dealerships, so they should probably know. I flew to Tampa and picked it up myself.
