2002 Ford F350 Superduty 7.3L Diesel 4x4 Extended Cab Long Bed Truck
I do reserve the right to end this listing in the event of a local sale. If you want the truck, please hit the Buy it Now button! :)
When I bought this truck in 2003, it had 45k miles on it. It’s now just shy of 286k miles. I’d say 90% of the miles I drove were on the interstate. I mainly used the truck to travel within an 8 hour radius of home for business.

The good:
The engine sounds the same as it did when I first bought it. The saying goes that these trucks are good for 500k miles or more, and have faith that this truck will not disappoint.
The block heater works great, and I recommend plugging it in during freezing temperatures. Like all diesels, this one loves warmth.
Cruise control works great.
Electric windows and locks work great.
Electric brake control works great, with trailer connections at the bumper and also inside the bed for gooseneck pulling.
Gooseneck ball hitch is quickly recessable to flush level with the bottom of the bed.
Brakes are smooth and solid.
New, strong hood support struts.
Radio with CD player works great. Tape deck works well also, and I use a cassette to aux adapter for playing tunes on my iPhone.
Tires have about 12k miles on them - lots of life left.
The bad:
The driver door has been replaced. I glanced and crumpled the original while it was open when pulling a trailer with another vehicle through a parking lot. The replacement door works great. There is a separate key that opens the passenger side only. Seems I had a fob when I originally bought the truck but have it no more. There is a pole shaped dent in the rear bumper. The door and bumper parking lot miscues are the only two incidents of which I am aware involving this truck.
Scuffs, scratches, and dings since $4k body work and new paint job in 2014. A great friend of mine did the work, and he went above and beyond. He did his best to keep the areas normally prone to rust with these trucks safe from future rusting. Other than one bubble-looking (but still very solid) spot on the passenger side rear fender, I think he did a great job.
The ac works great, intermittently. The system seems tight, but from what I’ve researched some sort of gap needs adjusted on the compressor to keep it from kicking off before it should.
The “passenger airbag off” light next to the switch to turn it off is not working, and I suspect this is why the airbag light remains lit on the instrument cluster.
Passenger side rear window tinting is rolling up, and has a couple of tears.
Rear seat has some black rubber goo “stains” from some tools I had stored on the seats. The goo is removable, but it will take some work. I’ve got it to the point where it won’t transfer to clothing when sat upon.
