2004 Ford Explorer Description

Good example of a 2004 Ford Explorer 4.6 V8.
I purchasedthevehicle less than a month agohaving just moved to the US, however my work is now providing me with a company car so the vehicle is surplus to requirements. The car runs and drives absolutely fine there are a few minor mechanical issues that anyone with basic tools can do. I have already undertaken a considerable amount of work and preventative maintenance.
The car has:
Brand new Radio/CD with BluetoothBrand new interior floor matsBrand new frontrotors (Still to do rear)Brand new front pads (Still to do rear)New U joint in drive shaftBrand new custom muffler and exhaust (Full system)Brand new beltFresh oil & fluid changesFull deep clean of interiorBrand new sway bar end linksBrand new struts on hood
Brand new AC compressor ($700 part)
The car needs:
Replacement alternator - $50 - Ten minute job to replace. Works absolutely fine, however is showing error message on dash (This is a common, very easy fix)Rear bearings are on the way out, however not urgentIt might need a replacement fuel pump - They start to loose torque over time and it's usually just a pump getting old $70, on the flip side the cats might just need taken out andcleaned.
The car has a bit of rust on the tailgate which is a common fault however it has not rusted through. The door has a dent which needs pulled out and a couple of 5รง sized chips. Tires are great, rims are fine.
I don't have the facilitiesto do too much of this work or else I'd do it and sell the car for more. It's an easy little project for someone but the car is still a bi-daily commute of 15 miles and runs fine.
I've triedto be as honest as I can with the car, It's a great thing but I've a brand new company car and simply have no need for it. Car has power seats, sunroof etc.
