1996 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Description

1996 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra One Owner 78K Bone Stock Original $7,700 in receipt

Unfortunately, due to an issue I had with eBay's initial posting of my Mustang Cobra SVT, I wasn't able to post any answers to any questions in the last 12 hours of the auction. During this time, the owner brought in over $7,700 worth of dealer only documentation on this car since he bought it brand new from Milliken Ford. This included the original owner's manual, Mobil One oil changes, a new clutch, tie rods, sway bar, ball joints, as well as a host of other maintenance and repairs that I couldn't post on eBay. I was furious and spoke to upper management, who simply didn't have an answer for me about their inability to post this information. As such, I upset the buyer, who thought he was lucky enough to take advantage of the situation and buy the car for $5101. Honestly, due to the car's originality, the original owner, the clean Carfax, the low miles and the documentation, there was no way I was going to sell the car for 1/2 of what its worth based on a technical glitch regarding the rules, regulations and guidelines of eBay. The buyer was so angry that he left negative feedback and promised to bid on all my items and not pay in order to stick me with the listing fees. I do understand, but in good faith, I offered to sell it to him for a paltry $5,500 and he just came unglued. So, to be perfectly clear, I AM selling this Cobra Mustang SVT at no reserve regardless of what it sells for on eBay and I've already blocked the gentleman from entering the auction so that you're not outbid by him. Feel free to contact me regarding this unfortunate set of circumstances, as I want to be up front about the debacle and why I'm relisting this one-of-a-kind Cobra.
Yes, this Mustang SVT Cobra was born, raised and babied in Dearborn, MI its entire life! It was only let out of the corral on summer day cruises and the 78,175 miles are all original. I have the original title and all the documentation you need to feel confident that you are looking at one of the 7,496 pure bread SVT Cobras made in 1996. From the showroom, this Cobra lived a pampered life and you can tell from all 38 pictures that it was left bone stock from the factory. Not only were there no accidents, the Mustang body is all original and rust free with no scratches. And you can tell from the underneath the front fascia and undercarriage that this pony lead a sheltered life. Even the Mach 460 stereo is still intact! The 300hp 4.6 purrs perfectly, the 5 speed manual transmission shifts flawlessly with a nice, tight clutch and she handles down the road without a squeak, rattle or pull. In fact, it runs like a brand new SVT Cobra and stops on a dime. You honestly won't find another original owner Mustang SVT Cobra in this condition and I'm selling it at no reserve, which is a gamble, but for you Mustang purists out there... now is your chance to pony up a bid! The only issues are simply due to 20 years of wear, which include the front leather seat that has cracks, but not a single rip or tear... not even in the bolster. Also, the original paint looks great, but does have some fading in that I'd personally leave alone to keep her completely original. So, consider this an investment grade Mustang, as they only stay original once and this one was clearly given special attention over the past 2 decades. BTW-a prospective buyer wanted to hear the engine running and I was able to take a video with my phone and send it to him via text. If you'd like to see it for yourself, just text me at 313-805-4265 and I'll be happy to send it along. Lastly, during the previous auction, a gentleman asked if I had a Carfax, so I did run an Autocheck and will give it to the new owner. I posted page one, which shows that the car was never in an accident and he (Ron) was the only owner since new.

Feel free to check my perfect eBay profile or my other eBay name under "smileylink," as I have over 2,400 all positive comments over the course of decades of selling items on eBay.
Please, no low balls offers, as this is the absolute lowest I'll sell the car at no reserve and I honestly won't take a penny less. These cars continue to move up in price and this one is truly special for it's one ownership prominence, low miles, documentation and original factory equipment. Come see it for yourself by calling me (Tom) at 313-805-4265 or Peder at 313-729-3671 and I'll set up a time for you to check it out in person. Or, feel free to have the car inspected, as I want to ensure that you're satisfied with the purchase. I'm building a fine reputation as a car lover who has been featured on Mlive.com, a local online news column. Feel free to look up the article entitled, "Specializing in Strange."
Please keep in mind that this is a no reserve auction and your bid is a legally binding agreement to purchase the Mustang. If you make a bid, I'll assume that you've already kicked the tires, asked the significant other and have funds available. Also, ask any and all questions before making a bid, as I want to make sure you know everything you need to before making your decision.Feel free to have the car inspected or come by to take it for a test drive. I do reserve the right to end the auction early, as the car is for sale locally. The buyer will be responsible for having the car shipped, but I'll be happy to pick you up at Detroit Metropolitan Airport if you want to fly in and drive her home. A nonrefundable $500 deposit will be due via Paypal within 24 hours of the auction end and full payment in the form ofclearedcertified check, Paypal or cash in person by 3 days with no exceptions.
Lastly, don't worry about me sticking you with extra processing fees, paperwork costs and other bloated additions to the cost of the Mustang. I have a clean, original title that's signed and the price you bid will be the price you pay. If you have a negative feedback rating or less than 10 eBay transactions, please contact me before you bid. Also, if you're from out of the country, contact me before you bid, as the only item I've shipped overseas was a Studebaker motor and that was a hassle! Thank you!
