1971 Ford F-100 Ranger Description

This auction is for a 1971 Ford F-100 Ranger long bed camper special. This is a great vintage truck. It has a 302 V8 with a three speed automatic transmission. This truck has air conditioning, dual gas tanks (secondary tank filler in rear drivers side wheel well), aftermarket cruse control, trailer brakes, bed storage bin, a heavy duty receiver hitch, custom rear bumper step, and a brand new starter. I have owned the truck for the last fifteen years. This truck is in running condition. That is to say it starts and stops, all the lights work and the cab floor pans are not rusted through.
This is a great truck but it is 45 years old. It has surface rust and a few small rusted through places on the body/bed. The carburetor needs to be rebuilt. The radio in the headliner in the picture did not work and it was removed after taking the photograph. The original radio works but is not currently connected to the antenna. The heater core had a leak so I bypassed it under the hood. The air conditioner works but needs Freon and the condensation collector leaks. There is a small crack in the windshield. The window solenoids for the driver and passenger windows do not go up and down easily. They need to be cleaned and oiled.
Included in the auction is a box of spare parts. Mostly the components to add power steering. The previous owner passed them on to me with the truck. I never saw the need and never did the upgrade. I also have the two top exterior windshield trim pieces and all the original trim for the headliner,the original exterior radio antenna, plus two additional tires on the factory steel rims.
If interested I also have an aluminum camper cover that will fit this tuck for an extra $100.
This truck is used and being sold AS IS. Winning bidder will need to pick up the truck locally. I will not deliver farther than the Walmart parking lot in Spalding County, GA. This truck is being offered for sale locally as well and I will cancel this auction early in the event that it sells locally.
