1993 Foxbody Mustang Convertible
1993 Ford Mustang LX Convertible Description
You're looking at a mint 1993 Convertible Mustang that has been in a climate controlled garage it's entire life and has never seen rain or snow. Theres no rust on this car. It has been pampered and rides tight and smooth.
The entire front suspension has been re-done. Steering rack, bushings, adjustable Konis, Eibach springs, bump-steer kit, Eibach front and rear sway bars, Ford Racing control arms with new ball joints and hardware. New rear springs, welded on subframe connectors, strut tower brace, camber caster kit for a precise wheel alignment. The rear rims are 18's and the front 17's. It has a short throw shifter with a cobra leather knob. H pipe, high flow cats (in case you live where they have emissions. It just passed emissions with zero issues), and sounds like a typical bad ass Mustang. She's a head turner.
Under the hood it has a cold air kit, new air conditioning compressor and a new water pump. She drives incredible and I would take her anywhere. The top is original and in good shape. It doesn't see rain but no water gets through when she's washed so I think she's good regarding rain (though I wouldn't but it to drive it in the rain).
You can see by the picture the original paint is gorgeous. I would have a professional give it a detail and buff it out and it will look even more amazing. People can't believe it's 23 year old paint. This car was very well cared for. The interior is in really good condition. I also stripped the interior and covered the entire floorboard with Dynomat extreme. Two layers on the entire floorboard and the trunk. The radio has a decent size amp with a 12 inch sub. The radio sounds amazing when cruising with the top up or down. Not a crazy base monster you hear coming up the street, just a nice deep base sound to add to the other speakers in the car (rears, doors and dash speakers).
Understand something, I do not have to sell this car but an unexpected home repair came up so it's take out a loan or sell the car. I have two other toys so I thought this could go to another happy Mustang enthusiast. I don't expect to get what I put into it. The parts are all top quality and installed by professionals. The guy who's thinking about getting one of these, do yourself a favor, get this one. I already put out most of the money for you (not that I haven't enjoyed it). An entire new suspension, subframe connectors, strut tower connector, do your research, these are all mandatory for a smooth tight ride that will cure about 90% of the rattles and noises. This car used to have some noise when I went over railroad tracks, now it almost sounds like a new car.
Please do not fill up my inbox with ridiculous offers. My starting bid is ridiculous as it is and it wont get any better. Almost 7 grand in parts and labor and the car is incredible. I'll keep it if no one bites on my starting bid but I thought I would give it a shot. Good Luck and reach out with any serious questions. Thanks for looking!
NOTE: The car is for sale locally so can be ended at anytime. Once there is a bid I will honor that and direct anyone interested locally to go to the auction. Thanks.
ALSO: There has been several interested parties inquiring about the interior. Unfortunately I did not expect I would be trying to the sell the car so these few pictures I have were to show friends. That being said I am working on getting pics of the interior and under the hood. I am not trying to hide anything I just don't have immediate access to the car. It is parked out of state in my other home. I am trying to figure out how to get pictures of it sent to me. The pics of the removed interior was taken to show the clean floor pans and the dynomat installation for my own satisfaction (like I said I had no idea I would try to sell it) it has been put back and the interior is complete and looks great for its age and the fact its original. Like I said, I'm working on getting pictures I just need to figure out how.
