Hello Everyone!!!
Today I have my old 2001 Ford Windstar LX minivan for sale. It's FOR PARTS ONLY! I have a small loan against it plus I need to pay some bills which is why my price is so high but please feel free to send me any offers and I will consider them.
On to the van.I bought this van from my sister as my first vehicle about 5 years ago. So I am not the first owner/driver. It had around 127,000 miles on it when I got it. Now it has around 188,000 miles on it. I can't be exactly sure on the mileage because it's a digital read out and since it won't start or let the lights come on I can't find out the mileage.This van ran just fine til about 6-8 months ago. It started misfiring (according to the light on my dash that's what it was doing). So we parked it and bought another vehicle. A few days ago we tried to start it so we could move it out of our way and it wouldn't start.We tried jump starting it but it still wouldn't start. My husband and I aren't mechanics and don't know why it won't start. I think we just didn't let it charge long enough because to me it sounded like it was trying to turn over but didn't have enough power to do so but I'm not sure.
The transmission is a little over a year old. It cost us $1800 to install.The van has 1 new tire. The other 3 are well worn and about to give out.The spare tire is under the back and the bolt is rusted so bad that we couldn't remove it.All the seats for this van appear to me to be in pretty good condition. We are none smokers so if you would like to replace your seats with these it shouldn't be a problem.
I was rear ended while driving this van about 2 years ago which is why the back is dented up the way it is. Also during the wreck apparently we lost the bolt to the back driver side window.
