1989 Ford Mustang SSP Description

You are looking at an Ex- Georgia State Patrol Mustang LX-SSP. The car was originally painted GSPblue and gray.The buck tags are still in place. Photo #10 shows the bottom buck tag (tag is upside down).The only police equipment still on the car isthe oldMotorola siren/speaker under the left front fender-photo #14,theroll bar-photo #6,2switches on the dash and the single key for the ignition, doors, and trunk. All other items have been removed.

The body is solid and straight. No rust other than a little surface rust.Original body panels and wheels. The paint is 2 stage, older butstill shines. There's a small scrape about 3" long at the bottom of the driver's door-photo #11. There's some paint flaking on the rear bumper. There's a few small spots on the front of the hood where love bugs where left on too long and slightlydiscolored the paint. Overall I would say it's a driver qualitypaint job. Not perfectbut looks good. The passenger rear tail light lens has a small hole on the corner- photo # 12.

The interior is all original.The seats are slightly faded but lookgood withno rips or tears. There are 2 small screw holes on the right side of the center cluster where radio equipment was removed. There's an oldtoggle switch on the left side of the cluster and an oldpush button switch on the right side.

The drivetrain is all original. No modifications. Runs goodand the steering is tight. Brakes are good. Transmission shifts as it should. It has 5 Goodyear Eagle GT tires with good tread. Mileage at this time is 95,072.

The car has a new battery, solenoid switch,and a new fuel pump in the tank. Everything works on the carexcept the map light, and the power door lock switch(just quit). It has had some work done in the past. The AC was serviced, blows coldbut has a slight leak now.The fuel injection was serviced. It had front end work done. And, the transmission was rebuilt by a competent shop.

The car is located in Alma, Ga. 31510. About half way between I-75 to the West and I-95 to the East. I-16 to the North and I-10 to the South.
