Up for sale we have a 1939 Ford Deluxe 4 Door Convertible. This Ford has been built from the groud up with some of the best parts money can buy. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Ford, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior description of the Ford. The body was pulled off the frame and pulled down to the bare bone. It was stripped to the bare metal and all the work was done and all the panels were refitted before being painted. Everything is covered in the Cayman Pearl Green Base Coat Clear Coat that is as slick as a ribbon. It's accented by the Tan Canvas Convertible top that creates the perfect transition between the exterior and interior. At the time of the resto new tinted glass was installed. Also the bumpers are new as well as all the other chrome. This Ford has the fender skirts that provide a nice touch. The final exterior touch is a set of Coker Wide Whites and Chrome Reverse Wheels with moon caps.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the Convertible. When you look at the interior tis all done in Tan Leather with Cloth Inserts. The dash is done in tan to match the rest of the interior. It has Classic Instrument gauges with the Vintage AC controls along with a Pioneer sound system that has the Satellite/IPOD option. The column is a Tilt Telescopic with a Lecarra Banjo Steering Wheel. Everything about this car speaks to the quality of the restoration process and the interior is no exception.
Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Ford. Under the hood it has a 5.3 Vortec Engine with an Overdrive Trans. The engine has coated Headers with magna Flow Aluminum Dual Exhaust. It has a Currie 9" with a 370 ratio rear end. The wiring is by Ron Francis and the front end is a Mustang II Rack and Pinon Steering. Also it comes with Power Brakes with disc up front and cold AC. The final touch is the 18 gal composite fuel tank with 2 internal electric fuel pumps making this car ready to go. The floors and frame look as good as the body.
This car is ready to drive or show and it drives every bit as good as it looks. We also have a pics of the build of this ride.
