Fantastic 1965 Ford Fairlane with a very potent and strong 289 backed by C4 trans.
This car runs PERFECT and strong. I've been using it as a daily driver on a 2 hour commute several days a month. No temp issues even in 90-degree heat.
I wouldn't be selling him, but our family is embarking on a move in a few weeks, and we can't take the car. My girlfriend named him Billy Don after her late Grandpa, just to show you how special he is to us.
We purchased the car from a friend, Marcus Edell, owner of JEM Klassics as a "project" in 2011. If you are looking to buy a classic this would be a great purchase. It's unique and different from the dime a dozen muscle cars / Mustangs that everybody seems to have these days.
Lot's of time and love has gone into the car to get it to its current state. There are also lots of parts included to tinker with and learn.
Major work done since 2011 besides general maintenance:
Engine built 2012 by Rescino Performance.
Original intake and carb included.
Transmission built by Tom at Bayshore Transmissions
RnR and general maintenance by Craig JR. at Craig's Auto Repair
Painted Jan 2013 by Mark Herbert at
Powder Coating by Elliot at Champion Powder Coating
Heat works (no AC), everything electrical works. Factory power steering.
Still has the original interior -- needs to be redone -- see pictures.
Back seat is in fair condition, but the front has a rip.
Original black plate with current registration and clean title in hand.
I have boxes of extra & original parts including the original intake & 2-barrel Carters, Dash gauge cluster, stainless steel trim, front dual lights and much much more.
I will also include a complete from oil pan to carb stock 1965 289 -- running when pulled, along with the matching C4 transmission for free.
Please email or call me with interest and questions.
I will respond within 24 hours.
