Please read the following... It is very important to note, as it will save you from possibly making a mistake down the road!
Beware of cars that have no miles... A car must be driven or the following will present a big problem in the near future. First the tires will be permanently flatspotted, and the seals in the motor, and trann, and rear end will dry up, and cause leakage!. Also, cars that are not driven ( when they are cranked ) stand a chance of greater engine wear and friction, as all the lubricant has definitely gravitated to the bottom.... I have talked with a dozen car collector professionals, and this is what they recommend, and what I did with this vehicle.
Car must be driven at least 7 miles a week. First the car is started up, and is let to idle until the operating oil temp, not water temp, but oil temp has reached its normal range! Then the car is driven the 7 miles, then put back into storage, with of course a battery tender hooked to the battery!...
Also note, cars not driven, and left sitting will have gasoline scum build up, messing up injectors, and fuel lines.
Never fully fill the gas tank. Maybe a quarter of a tank, and use Stabil 360 .... Use triple what it recommends.... It will keep moisture out, and take care of the gas getting bad! I have done all the above and more to insure this baby has been pampered!!..
Ok, now to the car!!
This car is perfect, and flawless. I put a 2000.00 3m clear bra system on all the hard hit area's of the car. Half hood covered ( over-extended to 36inches ) entire front end and 1/4 of front fenders, side mirrors, and inside wheel wells!! Car has never been driven in the rain. I have at least 30 coats of professionally applied Vitreo Airplane polymer! Its the best on the market to protect, and give your car the deep wet look we all try to achieve!!
AGAIN, NO EXCUSES, NO APOLOGIES, JUST A FLAWLESS CAR INSIDE, AND OUT. IF YOU DONT AGREE WHEN YOU SEE THIS CAR, ILL KNOCK OF 10K ON THE SPOT! ITS THAT GOOD! When car was removed from the transport truck, no one touched this vehicle, except me, and the owner of the dealership. Car was locked, and covered till I purchased it.
