1940 Ford Deluxe Sedan Delivery.A true master piece all original Henry Ford steel. Flawless original sheet metal from day one 1940. California spotless rust free. No patch panels or bondo ever. Simply the finest 1940 original deluxe sedan delivery wagon you will ever find. Laser straight panels everywhere with spotless interior. You would be hard pressed to find a finer original example anywhere in the world at any price. The black gloss on this Ford is a mile deep like a mirror everywhere you look. Showroom chrome everywhere. You can walk around this Ford 100 times and never find a bad angle. Beautiful show room undercarriage as seen in the pictures. Please note I have been driving this old Ford and the undercarriage is a little dirty as seen in photos. This will clean up real quick with a wipe down and car wax. Open the drivers door and you will find a beautifully restored interior which was done to stock specifications, using only original OEM components and LeBaron and Bonney interior material. Countless man hours were spent making sure that everything looked 100% correct. Nothing has been modified or customized on this spectacular restoration keeping everything the way it left the factory in 1940. It also has an original 1940 Ford bench seat if you decide you want to travel with company. Beautiful light maple wood flooring looks show room new and an elegant touch. The original Ford factory flathead 221 Ci 24 Bolt V8 motor is linked to a factory 3-speed transmission on the column, 3 on the tree. Factory original banjo rear end with 3.78 gears. Again everything is correct including the Ford tar top battery. She fires up instantly w/ the press of the button, and settles into a nice smooth idle. She runs & performs beautifully, shifting nicely though all three gears, and is an absolute BLAST to drive! The brakes are strong & work perfectly, w/ no pulling to either side. She sits on original 16” steel wheels wrapped w/ brand new Firestone Deluxe Champion tires (6.00x16 up front & 7.00x16 in the rear), which are 100% correct and look outstanding! This amazing Wagon also comes comes complete w/the factory original 1940 Ford Owner's Manual w/ Original Sleeve Envelope, original 1940 Ford Service Policy, original 1940 Owner's Service Certificate, original 1940 Ford Battery Warranty, original 1940 Ford Accessories Booklet, original 1940 Ford Engine & Chassis Shop Manual, as well as the original 1940 Ford Truck Dealer Brochure! This would be a great vehicle for advertising your business. Or hauling you antique motorcycle. Simply stated: there are absolutely NO issues w/ this Wagon whatsoever, no leaky oil drips, etc., and nothing at all needs to be done!
