1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Description

1958 Ford Fairlane four door hardtop. Car runs and drives good. 352 motor very smooth, transmission was rebuilt over 10 years ago and shifts great. Recent brake rebuild. Original interior is in fair to good condition. Driver door glass is cracked. Needs carpet. Body is very very solid, repainted about 20 years ago by long time owner. Has some blemishes and dings, some surface rust on roof and RF fender. Some bubbling in front edge of hood. Trunk and floors excellent. Missing spare, jack, and two tail light lenses. Original wheels and hubcaps missing. Has very old age-cracked tires. Imagine this car with some updated wheels, tires, and cruiser skirts at your local car show or drive-in. Needs some TLC but could become a daily driver. Not only is this a classic Eisenhower car - owner and car survived attending Woodstock II event in 1999 (see rear bumper sticker). I am selling this car for a friend, please email with questions. Car is sold as is and no warranty. Car is located near Youngstown, Ohio. Thanks for viewing this auction. Buyer must pick up or arrange shipping.
