2012 Ford Mustang SVT Performance Pkg Description

Presenting a very special 45th Anniversary Shelby GT 500. Car is listed in the Official Shelby American Registry, certificate is one of the photos attached. Instead of paying Shelby Las Vegas $65,000-70,000 to install their performance parts to build me a Super Snake, I chose to purchase the parts through their parts department tax free, have them shipped to me in Phoenix and have a well known performance shop (Dyno Comp of Scottsdale) in Scottsdale, AZ do the work, as they are very skilled certified techs and have trusted them on builds in the past. I purchased this car as a one owner vehicle in April of 2012 with a little over 2,000 miles on it. (I believe the original owner bought it new in July 2011) Back then it was a fairly loaded factory car including the SVT package and Electronics Package with Nav. and the Kona blue with the SVT red racing stripes that make this car stand out. July 2012, I started the build which took approx. 5-6 weeks between parts install, calibrations, prep and painting of the Shelby Super Snake hood. All said and done, I spent a total of around $36,000 to create this set up that rivals any production line Super Snake and actually the 3.6LC Kenne Bell Supercharger is even a upgrade from their Super Snake package over the Whipple SC. The set up produces 850hp / 763tq with the installed 4" pulley and Lund Racing programmed software upgrade for the KBSC. The base super charger specs can be verified on Kenne Bell's website at 815hp (5.4L engine) and the Lund Racing ECU upgrade adds another 35hp and 25tq. All this on 91 oct pump gas with the option to quickly switch to 100 octane mapping and add approx. another 30-40hp to the numbers just mentioned. I did not even touch the factory exhaust, so no worries registering this car, it is 50 STATE EMISSIONS LEGAL and passed with flying colors when I had it registered in California for a couple years after all work had been completed in Arizona. I have included a build sheet in the Photo's which you will see is fairly balanced as I did extensive upgrades to braking, cooling, suspension, drive shaft, shifter, aero dynamics and esthetic appearances in addition to the engine upgrades. The pictures do not do justice compared to see and hearing it in person.... the whistle of the large 3.6LC supercharger is music to any car enthusiast ears and the exhaust is perfect from the factory in my opinion... deep throaty sound without being too obnoxious like some of the aftermarkets that can also make you out of compliance with emissions testing. The car is very driver friendly and is not hyper sensitive by any means, which is great to be able to allow anyone to get acquainted before fully pressing down on the accelerator and unleashing the Cat 5 Hurricane under the hood... no kidding or over statement here. This car has been babied for the most part besides stretching it's legs once in awhile to feel the G forces this car pulls.... similar to a amusement park ride! Why am I selling? I still love this car and I am in no hurry, but I've had it for 4 years now which is a long time for me. I am a car enthusiast and would like to create my next ride experience. Tires have less than 1,500 miles on them and are in like new condition. Clear title in hand. Good luck and happy bidding. Car is being offered locally as well, so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.
