1948 Ford F68 Pickup Truck, very rare truck. Originally sold in Canada where F3's were badged as F68's but otherwise identical. The F68 designation refers to the gross vehicle weight of 6800lbs. This Ford F68 Pickup is in all original un-restored condition. There is very little rust. This is one of the most rust free examples I have had. The floorboards, cab corners, bed sides and front fenders have no rust through at all which is very hard to find on this body style Ford. The patina is great and I would definitely choose to not paint this truck, the paint is all original. The interior is all originaland in very usable condition.The original pickup bed wooden floor isn't even rotted. The original Flathead V8 motor was rebuilt by the original owner about 6 years ago. He only put about 500 miles on it though due to ill health. It hasn't ran for a few years but is still free, the key is still in the ignition from the last time that it ran. All tires hold air and it rolls freely and steers. It shouldn't take very much to get this truck back on the road.
I bought this truck from an estate sale. It has only had one owner from new.
