2015 Ford Taurus SHO Twin Turbo 3.5L V-6 Description

This is my personal vehicle that I bought with just over 7K miles on it. The SHO had very minor damage to the right frontbumper and right front wheel, with no damage to the hood, front fender, and the front grille was still intact. The impact was justenough to set off the driver's airbag and the originalnew car purchaserdemanded another new vehicle, so the insurance company totaled it. Repair consisted of anew front wheel,right headlight assembly, parking light, front bumper, replace the driver's airbag, and a front end alignment. The only paintwork on thevehicle was repainting thereplacement front bumperand a minor touch upon the rear bumper. That's it, no body paint work otherwise. The paint matches perfect. There was absolutely no frame damage. This vehicle should not have been considered salvage, in my educated opinion. I have a clear rebuilt title in hand.

I'vebeen the sole driver of the SHO for the last 20K plus miles and it is an outstanding vehicle. I drive it regularly but will keep the mileageunder 30K. It handles perfectly, has plenty of power, and the electronics and sound system are all great.This is a Texas car that was originally bought in Dallas and now resides in Southeast Texas.I take great pride in keeping all my vehicles in top mechanical condition and keep themwashed and waxed regularly. The oil is changed regularly with Mobil 1.Four new tires havejust replaced the original tires on the vehicle. A Ford factory recall on a possible faulty fuel pump control module has beenreplaced under Fordsafety warranty. This vehicle has no issues.

There are two different engines offered on the Taurus sedans; for those who only want front-wheel drive, there's a 237-horsepower, 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Then offered with front- or all-wheel drive is a 290-horsepower, 3.5L V6. Both models come with a 6-speed automatic transmission, as well as a relatively smooth ride and electric power steering and excellent brakes.
