This car runs very good and is reliable. The engine stays very cool. It is in great condition for a 60 year old car. It is currently registered with yellow California YOM plates. I tried to keep it as vintage as possible. It has a factory radio. The wheels look perfect on it. Every detail is period correct, except for the air conditioning. It even has a generator, instead of an alternator. The suspension is very tight. This car gets a lot of attention whenever it gets driven.
Features:
Rebuilt Big Block 390 Engine. This is a stock engine from around 68 or 69.HiPo Thunderbird valve covers and air cleaner from ’61-’62 painted base / clear. It has an Edelbrock carb. You will feel proud to open the hood on cruise night. Most of these cars had small block 302sput in them.Luckily, that is not the case here.
The car has interesting feature added: Someone bolted in a station wagon floor into the bed, so now it has a hidden compartment for the spare tire, which is a nice touch.
