Up for auction is my 1938 ford, no reserve. The car has had a lot of work done to it since I have owned it. It has had the engine rebuilt was rebuilt radiator rebuilt, generator and starter rebuilt, water pumps were replaced with new ones, steering box rebuilt, the tires were replaced as well when this work was done, converted to accept a modern type oil filter. The brakes have new cables, non hydraulic brakes. The temperature gauge and fuel gauge were also rebuilt. The car has non hydraulic brakes, it also has a 3 speed non synchro transmission which requires double clutching skill to drive it. Someone did convert the rear shocks to more modern tube type shock verses the original type. The car came from the south, it has been garaged since I have owned it. The paint still shines and looks ok but is not perfect, previous owner said it's probably 50 year old paint. The seat back flips up to store things behind the seat. There was also some damage done to the roof at some point previous owner told me something fell on the roof when the car was in storage for many years and it was repaired and is cracking see picture. I am not a car expert and have listed everything I know about this car to the best of my knowledge. CT does not title cars this old so it is sold with a ct bill of sale and current registration. The car is sold as is. A 400 dollar deposit is due via pay pal 48 hours after the auctions close. The balance is to be paid in Cash Only, checks or money orders will Not be accepted. Will not ship.
