1968 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Description

Older restoration built as a GT recreation, nicely maintained and an exceptional driver. Ford 302 V8 coupled to a recently rebuilt four-speed transmission. Body has NO rust or damage; paint and chrome both very good; no structural rust on underside/chassis (I tried taking some underside photos but I don’t have a lift and they did not turn out legible). Interior is in very good shape with NO rips or tears in upholstery. Electric convertible top operates as it should and fabric is in good shape with NO rips and tears. Odometer reads 15,650 (but I don’t think this is accurate).

Some of the recent additions include: rebuilt four-speed transmission, Hurst Competition Plus shifter, new rack and pinion-steering, new rear leaf springs, new tachometer, new hydraulic lifters, new valve covers, new chrome air cleaner, new Holley 4160 600CFM 4V carb, new Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, new Flame Thrower coil, new Goodyear Eagle ST tires, new Flaming River tilt steering column, new wood steering wheel, new Auto Sound AM/FM radio.
