1975 Ford Bronco Description

1975 Bronco w/ 302, 6.5" Lift (3 BL & 3.5 SL), Disc Brakes, PS, 4.11 Gearing, 35’s

The Truck runs great and is a beast. It gets tons of attention. Great stance for a lifted Bronco. I’m the 3rd owner. The guy I bought it from had it for ~13 years and he bought it from his neighbor who was the original owner. It was purchased new from a dealership in Clinton, TN and has lived in East Tennessee its whole life. I have a folder FULL of documentation including original Window sticker, warranty card VIN, financing paperwork/receipt showing trade in of a 57' Chevy for this truck. Clean title included. It never saw a real winter as we don’t salt the roads in East Tennessee unless it gets bad enough (under 10 days of snow a year). Feel free to call me at (805) 405-0765 if you're interested. Located in Knoxville Tennessee.

Originally Glen Green color from the factory with green seats but the previous owner wanted it to be orange (Paint is from a ~2005 Explorer Sport Trac). It’s a very nice orange. The photos don’t always capture its true color. Paint is not perfect and has some blemishes. Garaged for a lot of its life after being painted. It looks to be the original motor/tranny. I was told it did not have bondo and you can see the floorboards look really good from underneath with minimal rot compared to most. The frame is also extremely solid. I can get any additional photos you want.

Original Factory sun visors, wiper mechanism cover, and front seat belts come with the truck (Rear seatbelts are installed but front are not). One rear seatbelt “female” end is missing it’s cover plate. Also the driver door strap is not screwed into the kick panel as I don’t have the proper scre size for it.

California smog exempt as it is a 1975 year model.

MECHANICAL
Original 302 5.0 V8
Dana 44 (Axle Code on VIN plate is 03, which looks to be 4.11 gearing)
Carb was replaced with brand new remanufactured one. Runs excellent.
Radiator is ~10 years old
Engine was rebuilt ~7 years ago
New rear fuel tank
Oil change with 10w-30. New motorcraft oil filter
Newer air filter
New Battery (With 5 year warranty)
New plug wires
Newer Edelbrock Air Cleaner
2 New Fuel Caps
Factory 2 tank car complete with switch below driver seat and on dash for a gauge. Front gas tank was removed (Not sure why but these do go bad). Factory rear seat auxiliary tank according to window sticker

UPGRADES
Duff 3.5” suspension lift kit with hoops and dual shocks. New leafs were installed too. Duff coils. Drop pitman arm Some driveshaft work was done during the install I was told.
Has a 3” body lift supposedly from Wild Horses
Front Discs from Duff
Blue Transfer Case protector installed (may be Duff?)
Radius arms took to be newer as they’re blue (may be Duff?). They’re likely longer with the lift installed.
New Radius Arm Bushings
Duff power steering installed ( I was told it leaks but I haven’t looked much at it yet).
Steering rack looks to have been upgraded as it supports the stabilizer shocks
Duff Floor Shifter with custom fiberglassed housing for shifter/tunnel area. The previous owner did boat repair so he did this work himself. At first I was skeptical in terms of comfort with this tunnel addition but I'm 6'2 and comfortable Driving it. All 3 speeds and reverse work fine
Mile Marker 302 Street Master locking hubs
Previous owner recalls paying for rear end upgrades but he didn’t remember the details
Dual flowmaster exhaust

INTERIOR
All Glass is good
Windows roll up and down nicely
Black Upholstery (No tears in front or rear seats other than standard driver seat wear, which does have tears as you can see in the photos). Seat covers look like OEM
All 4 seat hinge covers included
Matching black Rear Seat (Factory rear seat according to window sticker)
Steering wheel - Lecarra wheel and Lecarra Hub Adapter Kits BA-22401. No horn button installed but these are ~$13 from Summit.
Wiper motor drop bracket installed to clear Bikini top
Rollbar
Has most seals installed including Window seals and door seals
Door panels are all there and are uncut
Glovebox liner is still there, along with the VIN plate
Dash looks to be uncut other than a stereo hole.
Previous owner had head unit installed in dash at some point but it was removed. It’s ready to accept another one. The speakers were just “floating” around the cab so no speaker holes were drilled in the doors or anything.
Herculiner Roll on Bed liner was done around 10 years ago when painted. Still looks good but needs some cleaning or a touch up
Gauges don’t seem to work and the Speedo is stuck at 60. This could just be disconnected but I’m not sure.
Some fiberglass work was done on the floors but is coming undone on the passenger side
Dash pad has normal wear and cracks

LIGHTING
Dash lights / cluster lights work great
Headlights work great.
Tailights don’t work and I haven’t investigated this yet. May just be bulbs. They supposedly worked fine before
Turn signals reportedly never worked
Parking lights / side markers are missing bulbs so this could be part of the turn signal issues?

EXTERIOR
Eagle alloy wheels with center caps
35x12.5x15 Mickey Thompson Baja Claw Radial tires with “Sidebiters”
Bikini top
Complete Hard top from a 75' Sport is available with the truck if we work something out. It's not perfect but does the job. Has a few holes from previous antennas being mounted. I believe all glass is good on it. May need help removing it from the other 75' truck. We'll figure it out.
Bushwacker duraflex fender flares from Jeffs bronco graveyard
Tailgate handle works perfectly
Has license plate holder
Trailer hitch ball
Had cb radio at one time and antenna was mounted to rear passenger side of bumper
Front bumper slightly bent on passenger after sliding on ice and slowly hitting something.
Driver door jam build sticker was masked when painted orange, preserving it
Engine bay was painted and looks good. Should clean up nicely even more
Door jams look solid
Was told the rockers had no rust
Factory jack / jacking handle included
One key for ignition (Didn't try it in the doors yet)

Red spray paint on driver door latch mechanism area, which matches the orange decently.

Some cracking / potential rust at bottom of inner-side of the tailgate

Factory Radio Antenna mounted to fender

TLC IT MAY NEED

I buffed the paint and it is pretty shiny. Needs some additional shining and I think it would look great.
Side mirror broke off it appears as its missing. The base is still there. New ones aren’t much at the Bronco part places.

Rear view mirror included but is not installed.
I was told the E brake doesn't work properly. I haven't cracked into this yet. It looks to all be there. Previous owner said if you set it it would not undo when you undo it in the cab. I haven't tested it but this may just be an adjustment.
Battery should have a battery hold-down installed. I just never got around to it. The tray looks solid.
4WD works fine but front U joint is not mounted properly. Comes a new u-joint for installation. It was initially removed to put new radius arm bushings on
Steering stabilizer shock was taken off by previous owner as it was reportedly shot.
Front Fuel tank was removed and comes with the truck, including its mounting skidplate
Floor Shift needs adjusted as 1st gear is reverse and vice-versa. Both of them work fine.
Pedals were replaced with aftermarket pads for brake/clutch and the throttle pedal has a “foot” cover over it. I’d remove this throttle cover myself and buy rubber pads ($5 each) for the brake/clutch pedals to look factory.
Has a “Hurst” shift knob on the transfer case. I have a 75-correct one from a 75’ parts car I can swap it out with if the new owner prefers.
It’s an old truck. It has some leaks here and there. I haven’t really paid much attention to if / where it does but I can if you wanna know
Driver side right seat hinge is broken and needs re-welded. (Seat is still mounted and works fine. It just needs to have the cover removed to fix this)
New door hinge repair kit installed on driver side and the door needs some adjusting. The passenger needs adjusted as well. This was from jeffs bronco graveyard. The doors need some aligning to sit flush with the body.

Master cylinder is seeping but I haven’t noticed much of a loss of fluid. It stops fine.
