1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition 7-Passenger/S.U.V.
1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Description
**NOTE** Truck DOES NOT include the roof-rack mounted ARB Tent in the photos, but it CAN be sold with the truck for an additional price.**
This is a local Prescott truck, and has been in Arizona all it's life. I bought it last summer from my friend, who had owned it since 2002-2003. It's nice and clean and has low miles for the year. It's never been in an accident. Needs a few things, all pretty minor issues. It's a nice truck and well worth your time to look at. It's not full of dents or dings. I just recently made a deal on a newer pickup truck, and after much back-and-forth,decided to sell this one as I just don't have a need for 2 trucks at this time. That's the only reason for the sale.
Mileage is 98,501 as of today. Original 'Box A' titled miles.
5.4 Liter Triton V-8 engine with automatic overdrive transmission.(4-spd)
All-Wheel Drive model (AWD) with select-able High/Low transfer case dash mounted shift on the fly.
7-passenger with third row seating. Fold-able and also removable.
It's the Eddie Bauer Package and came with everything you could pretty much get. This truck new wasover$42,000 in 1999. It was Ford's top-tier model and it has power everything, including L.E.D. signal mirrors and power brake and accelerator pedals. Everything works. The interior and exterior both are in above average conditions. It's always been garaged and it shows.
Factory Monsoon stereo and factory subwoofer. Original 6-disc CD shuttle-player has a jammed magazine, but I have a spare one to replace it.
Real and Genuine 2-pc.WELD Stone Crusher wheels with WELD center caps. These aren't made anymore and are hard to find in this condition.
Brand new 35" TOYO Open Country A/T 2 tires with less than 600 miles on them. I checked the brakes at the time of tire install and they are at about 75%.
FabTech 6" inch suspension lift kit.
Chrome Nerf bars with Art Carr aluminum tread steps installed.
New headlights and corner lenses,as the originals were staring to fade and become cloudy.
Recently oiled K&N air filter on the Air-Raid cold air intake kit.
New Mobil One oil change with NAPA Gold oil filter.
New B&G 44K fuel injector cleaner ran through last full tank of fuel.
New rear pinon seal last Fall with new Ford Synthetic gear oil in the correct weight.
New window tint all the way around including AZ-legal windshield tint (50%) by ProTint here locally last year.
Factory Ford tow package and hitch.
I just put in new rear window glass lift-supports to replace the blown-out ones.
The truck looks and runs very good. There are some things that need fixed and some attention after 18 years on the road and being a lifted truck. It needs 4 new shocks. The A/C works, but needs charged and I don't know when the last time it was done. The steering wheel is off-center a bit and the steering wheel and drivers seat show wear from normal use. The frontdrive-shaftu-joints are getting worn and will need replacementsoon too. Front suspension checked out on the alignment rack at Jim's Alignment recently (best shop locally here) but will need tie-rod ends, which are inexpensive. Lifted trucks stress all these parts and it's considered normal routine maintenance, I just hadn't gotten that far with it yet when this newer pickup became available for sale and I purchased that. Now you know what I know, and I'm honest enough to tell you about it.
Decide if it's right for you. I've rarely seen a nice lifted Expedition, especially one with this low of miles. These trucks routinely go 200K miles pretty easily. Look around on Ebay or Craigslist and see for yourself. I've got nothing to hide, come and see and drive. The price will not be reduced any further than today's lowest asking price. If you feel it's not worth that, that's okay, buy a different one from somebody else.
Thanks for looking ! Email with any questions.
Price is $5600.00 firm.
