Up for sale is my 1969 Mach 1. It is a true shaker car with the original professionally rebuilt 351-2V engine. The car is a very strong solid running car and starts with the flick of the key. The drive train has been fully rebuilt by local shops. I have deluxe marti report as well as the build sheet for the car. The build sheet is in poor condition but there. I also have a reproduction of the window sticker of the car. The car was build on 7/7/69 at the Dearborn plant. The engine was built on June 27th, 1969 with the same casting number on the block as the VIN of the car. The car took over 3 years to restore and has less than 700 miles on it since restoration. The car was restored to how it came from factory except I added dual exhaust (I have the original restored valance) and Flowmaster exhaust withHpipe. Also upgraded the rims and did not put the stripe on it as I feel it is ugly. Both can be easy fixes if you so desire. Everything else is as it was when it rolled off the line based on Mardi report. I do not have a radio in it as I cannot find original one that works.
Transmission is a FMX Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed completely rebuilt and shifts smooth and strong.
Engine is the numbers matching original. It has been fully rebuilt and is extremely strong. The engine had to be bored .30 over due to piston seized from rustfrom sitting for many years. Also it has a stage 2 cam installed with .474/.498 valve lift and .050 duration. The cylinder heads are original and rebuilt. Carburetor and power steering unit arenew (remanufactured). Over all compression ratio is 9.66.
The body of the car has been 100% restored, new everything. The floors were replaced with 1 piece floor pan including new torque boxes in front andcaps in rear. The pictures show for themselves. Body islaser straight, all metal, NO FILLER, and paint job is exceptional. I did NOT have the paint zeroed out as I wanted to try to make the car as original looking as possible so we left some orange peel in it like factory. Under body of the car is in exceptional condition as well as under the hood and trunk area as shown in pictures.
The interior is in exceptional condition, all reupholstered seats with new foam up front. New dash pad, carpet, door panels, etc... The steering wheel is original and could use restoring or replacement. It looks great but the horn does not work due to the connection being damaged. I did not replace it as it was original they are hard to come by.

So that was the good...now the 3 issues with the car...
The dash lights stopped working. They worked well and I went to drive it home one night last year and they just stopped. I believe it is a ground wire. I do not have the time to pull dash pad off to source the ground wire. All other lights/signals, etc work fine.
The windshield wiper on the drivers side started to flop. Again it all worked fine before, but now when turned on will not go same speed as passenger side. The wiper mechanism under the cowl will need to be replaced. Cheap and easy but no time.
The engine tends to run hot in gear at long lights in extreme hot weather. When it gets over 80 degrees outside it will start to get hot in drive at lights. It stays very cool going down the road and when temp is under 80. It has a 160 deg thermostat and all new components (rad, 6 blade fan, shroud, pump) and water flows through radiator great. I was told by local engine builder to just add electric push fan to front of radiator, or separate trans cooler. Both easy and cheap.
