2006 Ford Mustang GT Premium Coupe 2-Door Description

Up for auction is my 2006 Mustang GT Premium Coupe in the very desirable Vista Blue Metallic. I am the second non-smoking owner and have garaged the car since I purchased it in 2010. It has not been driven in the winter snow so it only has 38,812.2 miles as of this listing today. This is a great car and very fun to drive. In addition to the 300 HP 4.6 liter V8 from the factory I have added a Steeda Cold Air Induction System with a SCT Tuner (add 38 HP), Steeda Charge Motion Delete Plates (add 10 HP),and Steeda Underdrive Pulleys (add 10 HP) for a total of at least 358 HP. The custom tunes came from Brenspeed. The original tune is stored in the SCT tuner along with a Sport tune and a Race tune, which is what is loaded currently. This tune requires premium fuel and it is so worth it! The combination of these power upgrades made a significant improvement in power and throttle response such that even with the automatic transmission it will chirp the tires under full throttle going from first to second and second to third! Also sourced through Brenspeed was a Ford Motorsports Shelby GT 500 KR Suspension upgrade consisting of shocks and struts and upgraded to Steeda Ultralite springs. This lowered the car by about 1.25" so a Steeda Adjustable Panhard Bar was also installed. The result was a significant improvement in the handling as well as a more proper stance for this modern muscle car.
The exterior was upgraded with a CDC CS California Special style front spoiler, American Muscle Vista Blue mirror covers, American Muscle rear quarter window louvers, American Muscle tail light black trim rings & black trunk panel, and an American Muscle rear spoiler. The interior is the Premium Edition with Leather Seats, the Shaker 500 8 Speaker Stereo with 6-Disc CD/MP3 Player, ice cold Air Conditioning, Power Mirrors, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Driver Seat, Rear Window Defogger, and more. When I purchased it I had the dealer add seat heaters as well, which work great on those chilly Spring and Fall dry sunny days. The GT floor mats shown are included with the car. Overall this Mustang GT is in really great condition with only minor wear. The tires are original and have the tread as shown in the photo. The wheels are 17" American Racing Shelby Cobra Edition Torque Thrust style, which show some minor curb rash and small surface spots. The car has recently passed State of Illinois Emissions Testing with flying colors. It also includes two keys and key FOBs, compact spare that has never been used, scissor jack & lug nut wrench, and original factory owners manual. Original parts that have been replaced and upgraded are not available or included in this auction/sale.
