1947 Ford Panel half ton Description

Up for bidding is a 1947 Ford Panel Truck half ton, 350/350 GM combo, Chevy rear end, F100 front end, Power disc brakes, tilt steering column, 12 volt conversion, Edelbrock carburetor, intake manifold and air cleaner, Mooneyes tachometer and wooden steering wheel, new wiper motors (2), scratch built wiring with newer fuses, working after market gauges, lights, blinkers, hazard lights; good glass (door glass goes up and down easy), Diamond plate front floors, wood in rear, decent/straight body (all Henry Ford steel), I don't see any Major rust, needs paint/ minor body work (1980s paint job, lots of scratches, small dings, touch up paint); Chrome grille (not painted), aluminum wheels (5), 1939 Ford Tail lights, dual exhaust (hole in a muffler); The panel has been sitting for 2 years, it will be wise to check the brakes ( they feel soft ), and all the fluids/tune up, it could use better motor/tranny mounts, before getting it on the road again; it runs/drives well, very cool rear barn doors, back of the truck is empty (please see photos) with no signs of rust/dents showing through the interior panels; clean Ca. title on hand with matching VIN #, registered as Non Op in Ca. so no back fees .Overall it is a hard to find, one of a kind, low production Panel that needs Restoration.
