1989 Bronco II Eddie Bauer all original, everything working but lifter noisy

Here you have a well maintained, well cared for 1989 Bronco II Eddie Bauer with all the bells and whistles. I have owned this truck for the past 4 years and it never let me down. However, it has developed an irritating lifter noise. At first it was only present every now and then but now it's permanent.
During my ownership I have had the headliner and radio replaced, the windows tinted, new tires and shocks mounted, the front end rebuilt and the car aligned.
Everything, and I mean everything, including the rear defroster and wiper and washer, works. The ac is ice cold, the heat burning hot.
There is, aside from some light surface rust, literally no rust on this truck. All paint is original and shows well.
However, the truck is used and does have some chips and door dings. In some places, especially the golden part above the wheel wells, the sun has burned through the clear coat.
The interior is clean, the dash in good shape.
Like with all used cars, no warranty
