Do not be fooled byMilage its all about how a it was taken care of and what it was used for, This truck was never plowed with worked or abused. Fleet ServicedYour Looking at a Beautiful truck That is in Excellent condition inside and out, The body is in great shape and the paint shines like new. Body has a few minorscratches but nothing thatwon't buff out, I alsodon't see any major rust issues. A little Surface rust on the frame but overall very clean and solid, This truckalso just passed Emissions and Inspection a few months ago. I purchased the truck last year from the Local PoliceDepartment, I have a contract with them we service thereVehicles and sell them when they come out of service. So After buying this this truck I used it for personal use for about a year and it has been very good to me, I recently ended up buying a new truck so this one must go. IChanged the oil every 3K and serviced it like clock work using top brand parts.
This was a fleet serviced truck, I am not exactly sure what this truck was used forPossibly under cover use. When I got it I was required to pull out all of the LED Lights and strobe lights so everything now is back to factory spec, I alsopulled out a LOW JACK SYSTEM so I am Guessing this truck was used for tracking down stolenVechicles. It also has a rear TV & dvd system in the rear of the truck that will go with it, I have never seen one of these in this type of truck.
This truck Runs and Drives like new, I am not a mechanic but I am not aware of any issues with it at all. The truck was just at the ford dealership before my road trip and I hadthespark plugs changed, Coils,Radiator Flushed and the rear diff serviced just for peace of mind. I am really confident with the truck I justdon't use it anymore sincebuying the new truck, I currently keep it stored in my garage andthats where it will situntil it sells. I do not need the money and I am in no hurry to sell but I diddecide to take my chances at a NO RESERVE AUCTION so bid to WIN!!!! ALL THIS TRUCK NEEDS IS A NEW HOME AND HAPPY OWNER.
DRIVETRAIN:The Engine Fires right up and is very powerful and has lots of torque, It feels a little more powerful then other fords I have driven could be because of themaitence history. The Transmission shifts smooth threw all of the gears and the 4x4 Engages as it should. it does not appear to leak or burn any fluids, I recently took the truck on a 700 Mile road trip and it did fine I averaged about 18 MPG which is pretty good considering its full size truck.
INTERIOR:I would say the interior is in good shape considering its original and a non smoker owned truck. It is very clean no odors or major wear and tear at all. Interiorisn't all beat up and nothing appears to be broken, all of the power options are in good working order.
OVERALL:This is a Truck That youdon't want to miss out on, I don't think you will find another one like it. I purchased this truck from the Original Owner and he took really good care of itmaitence wise and drove it dailyOriginal Owner was Police Dept. I am pretty confident in the truck and I feel like it hasa lot of life left in it, Idon'tfor see any additionalexpenses that will be required afterpurchase.
