2005 Ford F-250 Lariat Description
I have owned and driven this truck for over 7 years. Over that time, it has had nothing but meticulous maintenance, constant upgrades and synthetic engine oil. This truck is 100% ready to turn the key and drive cross-country tomorrow. The miles are high but 90% non-towing highway miles. There is NO 5th wheel hitch or Goosneck hitch so it's not been used to work hard like most diesels have. **I am only selling because I upgraded to a newer F-250 diesel with the 6.7 liter.
BODY & INTERIOR This is the top of the line Lariat model with dual power seats, full leather interior, adjustable pedals, power sliding rear window, built in trailer brake controller, telescopic mirrors, power windows and locks, keyless entry, 6 disk in-dash CD changer, flip down center console, electronic trip/mileage computer, grill guard, running boards, factory aluminum wheels, auto-locking front hubs, front tow hooks etc, etc. The driver's seat isn't even torn in this one like the majority of leather seats are!!! The body is in overall excellent condition with a few minor blemishes. The bed is dented where I was loading a small dozer on the trailer and the blade caught it and the clear coat is starting to peel a little on the front fenders. Both are easily repairable if you desire. There is ZERO rust on the body. I am the second owner. The first owner lived in Florida and used it for overseeing commercial construction projects. I've used it as my daily driver and occasional towing of boats and trailers. ENGINE 6.0 liter Powerstroke Diesel that runs flawlessly with no smoke or blow-by. There are a few drips underneath it when it's parked but it's really minor as I never add oil between changes. I use nothing but synthetic oil in it. Over the years, ALL 8 fuel injectors have been replaced, injector control module replaced, EGR cooler replaced with the lifetime "Bulletproof" brand cooler, new radiator, new alternator, new water pump, new wiring harness for injection system, cold air intake (stock filter assembly included as well) and much, MUCH more that I've forgotten about.
DRIVETRAIN 4x4 drivetrain with the Fx4 package works flawlessly. It has the auto hubs that can also be locked manually. Transmission has been rebuilt in the last few years as well as the rear end. I use 4 wheel drive very seldom but put it in once a month just to keep it moving. Brakes and bearings are in great shape. Tires are worn and getting close to needing replacement but they've got almost 60K miles on them - which shows that the truck is obviously running straight and true. It has a frame mounted receiver hitch but has NEVER had a 5th wheel or goosneck hitch installed in the bed - showing that it's never been used and abused with heavy hauling.
SUMMARY This is an awesome truck with a constant stream of preventative maintenance and care. All of the expensive and common 6.0 liter problems were addressed many, many years and miles ago before they did any damage to the engine. I would not and do not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere at anytime. Everything works and there are no check engine or warning lights on at all (*truck is running in pictures of gauges). Buyer is responsible for pickup in Ozark, AR, 72949 unless other arrangements are made. If you fly into the Fort Smith airport, I will pick you up and you can drive it home. If you send a transporter, I will meet with him and assist with loading. I "may" be able to assist with delivery by driving it to you, depending on location and distance. $1000 deposit required through PayPal within 48 hours, full payment within 7 days.
