1997 Ford F-350 XLT Lariat Description

Hi. You are checking out my 1997 Ford F-350 4x4 crew cab, long bed pickup truck. It is 7.3 Powerstroke diesel. It has 267,000 miles on it. As you can see, it's probably not going to place well at your local truck shows :) The truck was wrecked last December. It went through a barbed wire fence. The damage is confined to the body, only. The chassis (entire frame) escaped any damage. As you can see from the pictures that I have included, herein, it has a very good running gear underneath. The frame is in outstanding condition. It is still solid as they come and it is straight. No rot or heavy rusting scale. The engine in this truck is in excellent condition as well. It is a strong runner. It sounds super good running, really sweet sounding. The truck had sat from mid December of 2016 until yesterday. I charged both batteries fully, turned the key on and when the wait to start light extinguished, I turned the key and that Powerstoke started in less then 5 seconds. It settled right down to a smooth idle and it's been running around here on my small acerage ever since, moving it here and there. The transmission is an e4od and it has been rebuilt, although I don't know when it was done or how many miles ago that was. It takes gear, both front and back great. The fluid is clean and bright. The truck has the Dana 60 front axle and it is in super condition, too. It is a 3:55 geared axle. Nice, straight and in good alignment. The is old powerstroke will make somebody out there a heck of a parts donor or builder. You are looking at a badly wrecked, parts donor truck, missing a few parts as shown, but it has a bunch of the high dollar, important parts everyone is looking for these days. All you guys know what these Dana 60's cost. Here's your chance to get a lot of goodies for not a whole bunch of cash. I'm not going to give this truck away, but it isn't going to break you up by a long shot either. If you have any question's or concern's, just ask away! Thanks for looking and God bless you all.
