1995 Ford Bronco Description

1995 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 4x4. Needs new torque converter, probably whole transmission. Truck was turned off when torque converter blew, so, if you're lucky, you mightonly have to replace that. Transmission is E40D, standard with the 5.8L V8 Engine. Has 269,000 miles on it, but engine was very well maintained with all oil changes on schedule. $2,000 put into the front end and differentials last summer (professionally done). All braking system components (minus abs module) replaced <1 year ago. Brand spanking new Warn manual locking hubs on front. Literally only locked in twice before torque converter went. New-ish All Terrain tires, probably 75% tread life left on all four (plus full size spare). Wheels are 15 in with 35 X 10.5 R15 tires, the largest that fit on an unlifted Bronco. Tires, wheels and hubs alone could sell for at least $500 if parted out. Hard top only. Front seats are torn on seating area, good condition on back. Back bench seat in good condition. Comes with bench seat cover. Rust around wheel wells and some on tailgate. Tailgate window works perfectly. As is the deal with most Broncos, cruise control is disabled by dealership (to reactivate it, you'd have to replace the module as per Technical Service Bulletin). ABS is currently non-functional; Prior owner removed ABS sensors, and I never bothered to replace them. Probably would work with new sensors. Windshield has a crack, I've driven it that way for ~10 years with no issue. Drivers side running board mount broke, still have the running board. Passenger side running board still on vehicle. Passenger side well pictured, drivers side looks almost identical, no difference in rust or dents or anything like that, just easier to take pictures from passenger side because of the way its parked in the garage. This Bronco is a wonderful project truck, and would be great as first vehicle daily driver (once you replace tranny), great project for a mudding truck, or just buy it for the parts to rebuild your own Bronco with. I would replace tranny myself and sell for way more than as is, but wife says it has to go now, and I don't have time for the project right now. If you want the Chilton's manual for it, its yours for no additional cost. Buyer must pick up, fits on u-haul car hauling trailer, or comparable trailer.
