1972 ford f100 custom xlt. Factory paint with great patina, dealer added air conditioning that's no longer hooked up. Factory V8 truck with all the options. it's a good daily driver. we drive it 3 to 4 times a week as I work 12 miles from home so it sees plenty of 25 to 30 plus mile round trips a day and it does great. it's been on a few long trips (100 plus miles) without having any issues or hiccups. I've done all the work myself I bought it with a bad motor and Trans and I've completely redone everything. everything done to the truck will be listed below. THE ORIGINAL ENGINE BLOCK AND TRANSMISSION WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE SALE IN CASE SOMEONE WANTS TO PUT IT BACK TO NUMBERS MATCHING. 302HO gt40p headed motor running bbk shorty gt40p headers running a brand new c4 auto trans with P&A performance parts in it. brand new everything on the inside of trans. went from 4 clutch packs to 5 clutch packs. Has around 600 miles on it. has a 2200 stall power drum brakes from factory. the interior is extremely nice. dash pad cover is new. Factory bench seat has zero cracks or stitching missing in it. carpet could use a good cleaning the truck runs, drives, and stops like it should. Pretty quick truck for what it is. Wouldn't be afraid to take road trips in it one bit. idles great. Doesn't smoke one bit or use any oil. compression is 167 or better in each cylinder. gets somewhere in the neighborhood of 14mpg around town. like I said this is a great driving and reliable truck that has a good patina look to it. PICTURES SHOW LETTERS AND FRONT HOOD TRIM OFF BUT THEY WILL BE ON BY THE TIME OF PURCHASE This is a great representation of a 44 year old truck. This was the best truck package offered in 1972. |
