2000 Ford F250 Lariat 7.3l Powerstroke
2000 Ford F-250 Lariat Description
I am selling my very clean 2000 Ford F-250 with the Legendary 7.3 liter Powerstroke diesel motor with 230,500 miles on it. Barely broken in! Lariat package, tan leather seats, white and tan exterior. Truck is in very good shape for 17 years old (build date March 2000), but does have some scratches and dings. I'm second owner. Truck was special ordered in 2000 and originally belonged to my father in law who bought it when he retired at 60. He pulled a fifth wheel with the truck when he first bought it and kept meticulous maintenance details and sold me the truck in February 2012. I have maintained the truck very well also. I’ve pulled a 10,000# bumper pull BBQ pit about 3-4 times with it and it has been my daily driver for 5 years and I have no issues driving it anywhere. Truck starts right up and no blow by.
I have added 20" wheels and Michelin 275/65/2 - 10 ply tires from a 2015 Lariat about 27,000 miles ago and added solid steel 2" spacers from Wheel Adaptors to compensate for the offset. I've added front and rear bumpers from a 2015 King Ranch (still need to insert the fog lights but do have those to throw in) and I updated the grill and headlights to the 2005-07 Ford F250 set up. The truck still has the rails for the fifth wheel hitch installed in the bed of the truck. Toolbox will be removed from truck prior to sell. Newly installed windshield and 2 new batteries in October 2016.
Truck has a Prestige 2-way alarm with remote start and interactive key FOB, Alpine touchscreen head unit with navigation (needs program update), CD player, and has been bypassed to watch DVDs when truck is in drive. Also has a cable to hook up Apple devices to the stereo. I added Boston acoustics speakers in doors and back columns along with an Audiobahn 10” sub and a Kicker 600W amp.
Has a K&N air filter and transmission was rebuilt 11-22-2006 at 100,870 miles. I had an oil leak repaired in July 2015 that was on top/back of oil pan. Engine was pulled and all gaskets associated with that were replaced while engine was going back in. Turbo pedestal replaced at 195,000 miles along with rear differential leak (gasket) repaired. Rear brakes and rotors replaced around 200,000 miles and front brakes replaced at 203,000 along with new water pump, thermostat, hoses and gaskets.
Negatives - it's not 4x4, door locks do not work but I have ordered all four of the actuators, overhead display with mileage, miles to empty etc. does not read out. Truck has dried concrete on driver side behind the tires on the tan bottom part. Truck also had a blow-out some years ago while pulling a fifth wheel so there is some damage on the back quarter panel from the truck being forced to the ground along with some scratches from the belts of the tire on the passenger side.
Price is $12,500 or best offer. Non smoker.
