1939 Ford Other Street Rod Description

This item is a 1939 FORD Standard Coupe – All Henry Ford Steel – STREET ROD.
Body is nosed and decked – no holes or rust – custom DuPont paint “Plum Crazy”, a 1970 Mopar muscle car favorite. A red pearl overlay with a custom multicolored “old school” side “lace” mural “Wazzup” finish in clear coat.

The Chassis is lowered 2” all around with 11” Power Disc Brakes up front on a Heidt’s Mustang II Power Rack & Pinion Steering Unit with a boxed frame for support.
Drum Brakes sit on the back of a 1970 NOVA 8 ¾” 10 bolt rear with a Detroit Tru Trax Posi unit & Richmond 3:08 Highway gears all hung up by a Chassis Engineering Leaf Spring Kit. Sway bars front & rear keep it straight --- CRUISES NICE!

This 39 Ford Coupe is powered by a small block 350 Chevy – Bored .030 over with a comp cam – Vortex Heads- sparks by Mallory, Edelbrock 600 CFM, & the exhaust is taken care of by way of s/s headers into a functional side exhaust. The running boards are contoured to accommodate the 4 into one 3” exhaust which exits at the end of the running board ---- SOUNDS NICE!

NOT TO FORGET a 16” Lokar Shifter hooked up to a 350 transmission for reliability. The engine compartment & motor are dressed in polished billet aluminum – and a custom “Wazzup” mural resides under the hood.

Cooling is taken care of by a Walker Radiator with 3 fans – two 14” pusher fans top and bottom and one rear mechanical fan – plus two 10” inner fender side exhaust fans- all relay protected & manually operated! NOT DONE YET – also one 8” remotely located transmission cooler which is thermostatically controlled – that’s a total of six cooling fans which are fed by a GM 100 Amp one wire alternator – RUNS COOL!

CUSTOM INTERIOR:

Power buckets, once part of a '95 Mustang “GT”- Billet Brightwork with many “tricked out” one of a kind custom fabricated parts and red & blue LED lighting throughout – NICELY APPOINTED!

Dolphin – S&W & Autometer tell the engine story – while a Grant wheel on top of a Ididit column that tilts does the steering. Seat belts & a fire extinguisher are a must!

A Pioneer CD Radio with a remote 10-disc changer and four speakers set the mood, while provisions are made to incorporate an “iPod” or “up to grade” the system – SOUNDS NICE!

Rides on P205/75/15 & 15x6 Chrome Reverse Rims – capped off with “Old School Spider Caps” – LOOKS VERY CLEAN!

Trunk Area has a surprisingly large sub divided tool/cargo area compartment. All black carpeted to compliment the space.

Rear lighting is accomplished by LED tail lights - third brake lights & running lights for brightness “Gotta Be Seen At Night!”

So, this 39 Ford - Turnkey - Head Turner Coupe is registered as a “Street Rod” in the State of Pennsylvania – has a clean title & state inspection. Has all good stuff, no junk parts.

HAS NO HEAT BUT, “PLENTY OF COOL”!
