First things first, this truck will not currently start. The 6.4-liter powerstroke engine will turn over with the key/starter, but will not fire up. Furthermore, I do not know what the reason for the "no start" condition is. Please do not bid if you are expecting to drive this truck home. Now for details:Up for auction is my 2008 Ford F-250. I bought this truck outright from a private party in Brownsville, TX in 2012. A custom truck shop in San Antonio performed the short bed conversion on thetruck, as well as the custom paint (the silver is original, they just added the satin black hood stripesand beltline stripes)and interior, prior to my purchase. I had the truck inspected in TX toensure that the conversion was done properly, and afterwards,I drove it to my home in southwestern GA.I drove it occasionally for several years(it was never a daily driver) untilit lost power while driving and would not start back up. It was towed to my farm and that's where it's been, under shelter, for a little over a year.Getting it back on the road could be something relatively simple, but I do not know. For me, it's time to make room under my shelter. That being said, this truck will turn heads every where you go and have people constantly asking if it's a custom or a factory model that they've never seen. It has 20" Harley-Davidson/Ford wheels with good BF Goodrich tires (285/65 on front and 305/55 on rear). The original bench seat was traded for black leather seats from an F-150 Lariat. It has the black, billet aluminum grill inserts and aftermarket HID headlights. The DPF has been deleted, but the EGR manifold is still in place. It has custompowerstroke decals on the hood as well as custom Super Duty decals on the front grill, dash, and tailgate. The cabwindows and back glass are tinted at 20%. The clear coat on the aftermarket black fender flares is peeling in places (I was going to have them sanded and painted to match the body),but the original silver paint job shines like new. I would rate the exterior and interior conservatively at 8.5/10. Get the 6.4 going or maybe swap it for a Cummins (that's what several people have suggested to me) and have yourself a real hotrod of a truck.
