Do not be afraid of this engine. It is a good solid work truck. It was purchased for an immigrant but he has decided to work elsewhere.
I have thoroughly checked this truck and the only problem is the oil cooler needs to be replaced. It is only a 300-400 part but it is a 2 day job to replace it and I just do not have the time. But it is otherwise a straight forward simple job.
The coolant system has been thoroughly cleaned and flushed and upgraded to using the CAT EC-1 spec coolant. Zerex ED1 is used. A coolant filter has also been added.
