2006 Ford Freestar Description

This is a good vehicle. Great for a family, it has 3rd row seats with updated seat brackets and plates. This vehicle has a new rebuilt transmission (rebuilt with new parts by a certified transmission garage), I have and will provide receipts for this work to buyer. This was a non-smoking vehicle. It runs and drives excellent, it is good on gas and extremely dependable. The engine is solid with no noises, and the vehicle was well maintained with regular oil changes, radiator flushes, regular lubrication and servicing. It has new rear brakes (rotors, pads, & calipers new in 2016).
There are a couple minor issues with this vehicle:
1) the P0446 evap code is on causing the check engine light to trigger, I have a scanner and checked it I tried new gas cap but it's still on so may need further checking out. I don't perceive this to be a big issue as it doesn't appear to be affecting the way the van runs.
2) There is some minor rust on the bottom of the van. It's nothing horrible but its a MI car and we have winters up here.
3) The electric lock doesn't work on the driver side sliding door. I dunno why but we always just pushed the lock up or down manually it's always been that way.
4) The light cluster in the center of the display gauges goes in an out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The only way to verify the millage is to take to a ford garage and have them hook to the computer. This is a common problem with fords for some reason and I don't know how to fix this unless I take it in. Assume you can't read the odometer but it does not have high miles, it's somewhere between 120 and 140; last time we saw it I think around 127 but drove after for a while. It comes and goes.
While I'm VERY confident this vehicle will run and last a long time, but it is being sold AS IS with no warranty expressed or implied.

Payment Methods:

Cash (In Person), certified check, bank transfer, or 3rd-party financing. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid.

Deposit
The successful high bidder must submit a $1,000 non-refundable deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.

Payment of Balance Due

The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

The winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of the auction end, and make arrangements to pay the deposit and schedule final payment at that time. The remainder is due within5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, leave negative feedback, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell otherwise.

Michigan residents are subject to all local registration fees and taxes. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1997 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, I will assist you in locating a service but all such fees will be the responsibility of the buyer.
If you are not sure about something, Please ASK. Do not assume anything not listed is included. I reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. I reserve the right to end this auction early and sell this vehicle at any time if reserve has not been met, or the auction has not ended.

Shipping

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. I will assist the buyer with finding a shipping com for more information. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

Buyer's Inspection

Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you I tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction. Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail.I welcome and recommend a buyer's inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.

Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in the vehicle description, this vehicle is being sold "as is". No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. Manufacturer's warranties may still apply

Bid Retractions

Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end. Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.

Negative Feedback Bidders
I reserve the right to refuse bids from those with no or negative feedback.
Successful Bidder
The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes or he/she must contact me within 24 hours to proceed with payment and make pickup/delivery arrangements.
Non-Paying Bidder
If the deposit is not received within 2 business days I have the right to re-list the vehicle, sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
