2006 Ford Explorer 475HP Supercharged Description

For Sale is an extremely unique and rare Roush Supercharged 475HP Ford Explorer. This truck packs a whopping 475 Flywheel HP and runs like a dream. The Roush Supercharger system is a custom install and calibration that drives like stock, but kicks you in the pants as you press the pedal.
DO NOT let the high miles fool you into thinking the Engine has no more life left. This motor is SOLID and as long as you change the oil every 3000 miles on a Ford 4.6L 3V motor, it will LAST and LAST. This is proven. Even with the extra blower power I would not worry about the engine.
How did this baby get this much power? Utilizing a Roush TVS2300 Supercharger at its core, this is a complete Turn Key Package that includes Supercharger, Injectors, Cold Air Intake, Spark Plugs, Calibration, Electric Fan, and accessories. This is a custom $8000.00 Supercharge package.
I am the second owner of this truck as far as I know and have had it since 2012 and bought it with 112K miles on the truck. The Supercharger system was installed about 2 weeks after I bought the truck which was around 60K miles ago. This truck has NEVER had a major problem or issue and has been meticulously maintained along with the blower maintenance like oil changing and air filter changing, new spark plugs yearly, oil and transmission fluid changing etc. Super COLD AC and Great Heat!!!
New or newer parts include: New Radiator, Electric Cooling Fan, Water Pump, Transmission Fluid and Filter Change, Gear Oil, Brakes, Roush Air Filter, Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust.
This truck was my main ride up until a year ago and mostly has highway miles, family vacation trips, kids travel sports trips etc. Not raced or really beaten on. And I will say that you never really need to put your foot all the way to the floor in this thing because the POWER is big and half way more than does it.
Since this is a 170K plus ride, there are a few blemishes and quirks. First, I did my best to note in the photos a few small scratches on the body, and I mean FEW ! Second, the interior is in 9 out of 10 shape. Seats are very nice, drivers is worn a bit but that is normal check photo. Pass has small red spot on it no idea what that is. This will need new tires soon, plus the Ford TPMS tire pressure system is weird on this truck and says it has a bad sensor. So that will need looked at when tires are replaced. Truck has upgraded 18" wheels which are nice too.
Truck has all available options in 2006 except rear DVD. It has Navigation and I added a Bluetooth Hands Free interface to factory radio, Sunroof, 6 way drivers seat, Power Pass Seat, adjustable pedals, Rear Heat /AC, Reverse Sensors, Door Key Pad ( I have the Code too) Remote Start. 3rd Row with Center Console. This is awesome.

This is really a great deal. Heck the Supercharger alone is worth half of what the truck is listed for. You could return the Explorer to stock and use the blower on your 05-09 Mustang GT and have a super clean SUV
