1998 Ford Mustang GT Description

Up for sale is an absolutely beautiful, bright red 1998 Mustang Gt convertible. Was purchased new by friends of ours and always garaged (still is). This is a adult driven, no children ever car.
This car has been 98% dealer maintained, with documentation from the dealer. It has had such things done in the last couple of years and within the last 10 to 15 thousand miles or less like:
New complete clutch assemblyNew complete upgraded intake manifoldNew factory heater coreNew brakes and rotors, etc.Etc, etc, etc.....
The original paint finish is beautiful with only very minor road wear, which does not detract from the overall condition. Beautiful factory tan leather interior showing almost no wear at all. I am not sure the back seat was ever used. Power driver's seat and a beautiful interior and trim. The top is the original and does not leak. It does have a little wearing on a couple of edges and a little discoloration in a couple of spots, but is very presentable and tight and seals/works perfect. Amazing it still has such a nice top for 20 years old.
The mechanicals are excellent. No leaks ever and a very clean chassis. Never raced or abused (senior owned) and always maintained and serviced properly. It drives as one would expect for a GT... solid and stable. Tires are excellent and service is up to date. I believe everything is working properly. Proper functioning ventilation and cold A/C. Factory MACH 460 sound system.
If you are in the market for a classic and original mustang GT convertible with the 5 speed manual trans., that has not been modified or abused and is still just the way it was delivered new, this is it. This car is truly a time capsule. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer, cleaner example of this car.
