2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor Description

Bought from police wholesale dealer 3 years ago at 78,000 miles. Old Westbury Long Island village police car. Car was meticulously cared for and taken out of service once the department bought the new Taurus and Explorers. I have been the second owner since then and use it for highway use to get to work in Long Island. Selling to get a pickup for camping/outdoors. Oil, oil filter, and air filter just changed at 110,680 miles.
Pros:
-Obtained 3 years ago with 78k miles, now has 112,686 miles - All highway. Will rise slightly as I still use it a few times a week.
-Oil changed regularly [ JUST CHANGED AT 110,680] with Motocraft 5w20 w/ filter.
- Replaced Air filter at 110,680- literally brand new.
- STILL HAS Skidplate, push bumper, police cooling hoses, police drive shaft, and spotlight. Steel Skid plate protects underside of engine.
- Less than year old wiper blades - full sized spare w/ police rim
-Has silver/white reflectors [ like highway patrol ] on the rear that are both functional and make the car look really good. Also good for insurance purposes.
- Commute car on Southern State to and from work - 90% highway miles.
-Never smoked in. No wires and crap everywhere like some cars do.
- Roomy, tough, indestructible, low maintenance, decent gas mileage (Averaging 21ish combined)
- All brakes and rotors redone about 8 months ago. $450 in parts/labor
- Had someone scratch my bumper and their insurance paid to repaint the whole bumper. Have paperwork for paintwork.
- Weathertech Floormats front and back. Over $150 for all 4
- Has power drivers chair both up/down and back/front.
- Power mirrors and lumbar support adjustment
- No torn up wires/hanging trim - interior very clean.
Cons :
- Spotlight works 100% but needs new bulb (if you want it working)
- Was purchased with some dents and dings from it simply being a police car. Still, a lot better looking than other ones which get trashed - No major defects
- Muffler hanger near muffler is not welded on - because glass backs don't use hangers. Does not cause any issue, I am just being honest.
- 3rd brake light out (will probably be fixed this weekend)
- Going to change anti-freeze (as is recommended every 3 years by manufacturer, will do once it warms up)
