1940 Ford Coupe Description

1940 Ford Coupe Project. This Coupe Body is sitting on a Chevrolet S-10 Frame. This gives it Disc Brakes and Modern Suspension. It also allows the builder the opportunity to utilize lots of Chevrolet components and Wheels with Chevrolet small bolt pattern. The car already has a set of Chevrolet Wheels on it. There is no Engine or Transmission. The Differential is the stock unit from the S-10. The Car will need Floors and lots of other items. There is a Seat and Dash Board with Gauges and a Group of other parts that go with the car. There is another Firewall that was purchased at a local swap meet for $250.00. There is a set of very nice Inner Fenders that have been sand blasted. There is a set of Bumpers, rusty, but can be re-plated. There is NO TITLE with the car. Obtaining a Title for a car this age is usually no problem. You should check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles to find out what is necessary to obtain a Title, before bidding. The Body is a bit rough, but this is a Project. Every part needed to rebuild this car is available through aftermarket sources. The 1940 Ford Coupe is easily one of the top three hot rods of all time, so there are lots of people out there making parts for them. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. The Coupe sells to the highest bidder. I may be able to assist with delivery, for a fee, within a couple of hundred miles of Canton, Ohio. Please email any questions or requests for shipping quotes.
