BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
this Ford hauler I believe was built by a fabricator out of
phx back in 1974. The seller told me outfit or Ford dealer but I dont recall their name.
It was built to haul 2 cars and it was used from the late 70s to the mid 90s as a portable pit stop / chase
vehicle for a race team who raced SCORE vehicles in places like Baja Mexico and races like the Mint 400.
The being said, its obviously been mechanically kept up and well maintained over the yrs. The original 390
let go about 17 yrs ago and another mildly built up one was installed. It has about 30k miles on it, but the truck
was taken out of commission in the late 90s and not driven or used much since. This is a very rare and sought
after classic Ford which can still be used for its original purpose or just take to the local car shows loaded
up with your Race car or truck. Actual mileage on the truck itself is prob over 170k.
In the back is a 6000lb winch which still works great with a long cable remote. The truck was set up yrs ago
with an on board generator and welder among some of the big equipment. It even had dual battery and charging system
at one time. All the side doors still lock and work with a key. The ramp system to drive up is all there and works well.
Has hook ups for air and tow hooks out back and electrical too.
On the Driver side sleeper part, a new aluminum wall was installed with a nice window. The original 2 doors that went on
there come with the truck and it can be converted back easily enough if you wanted to. YES, the area behind the cab is a
SLEEPER area !!
Area field managers service rig. Built in Tempe now.

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.

DRIVETRAIN: factory V8 big block truck with a granny gear 4 spd.
Starts and runs great, my only issue is the manual choke cable sticks sometimes
and when it does it idles high. At normal idle it sounds great, with the basic bolt
on performance mods and a mild cam. Not much as been detailed under the hood
in a few yrs. Transmission and clutch feel fine, out back is a DANA rearend of course.
Some of the AC parts are still under the hood too. It originally had underdash AC.

The motor does not have more then 30k miles on it, it was gone thru before
being installed about 8 yrs ago...and then parked alot./// retired of sorts.

EXTERIOR:the body pretty straight for its age, but this is a 80%
rust FREE AZ desert survivor. Windows roll up and down, doors work
fine too.Rust or rot I should say is still pretty minimal around the truck
Much nicer by comparison to a truck this old from the eastcoast. The tool
box areas and sleeper got some rust and rot, but the beauty about these
they are flat pieces of steel and very easy to replace. Maybe even update
with Aluminum and drop some weight while adding a cool look. The paint
is old and not in very good shape. Its had some touch up or redo in spots
and in person you can see its not very good at all.
and dont forget the awesome 6000 lb winch up top.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see .. but old.
We didnt hear any weird noises or clunks while driving it around. It Im sure
will need some work soon like bushings etc in the future, As mentioned before the
race team who had it, always kept up the repairs on this truck.
but as is its driving around ok.
Minimal rust under the car, making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!

There you have it, probably The BEST represented FORDs on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort
of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
Email me for a quote for shipping.

On Feb-28-17 at 23:13:21 PST, seller added the following information:

Ive been moving the truck around some today and the forward gears are going out fast.

So knowing it will need a trans rebuild because of no Reverse, expect no forward gears too. This could make it harder to ship and or load up. Not impossible, just more costly in the shippingarea.
Also, the full bench seat rear back is in bad shape, thought it may of beenOk with the cover on, but its pretty cracked up.
Under the hood it is set up for dual batteries, but only one is present underthe hood. Since its not driving much anymore, due to the bad trans, it probablywill not come with any battery under the hood.
Tires are 16" and very old bias ply.
The camper shell is in really nice shape on the outside, but does have someminor damage on a few areas, check out the pics.On Mar-13-17 at 13:09:29 PDT, seller added the following information:

I did forget to ad, this truck does have 2 gas tanks. Its currently running off the

large reserve tank under the truck. At the moment the tank behind the seat is emptyand the sending unit it out. The float fell off the sending unit and our next attempt wasto try to get the float out before installing the new sending unit back in.
But the front tank should be fine to use once the sending unit it put back in.On Mar-13-17 at 13:11:24 PDT, seller added the following information:

I also want to a it starts and runs fine with the key, but the manual choke

lever seems to be not working and idles high when you start it. Im prettysure its choke related just havent had time to check it out, but going to try
and look at it this week, I should have a few minutes. On Mar-19-17 at 01:05:39 PDT, seller added the following information:

The last few days its been getting hard to start when its cold, I have a feeling the carb
may need a rebuild or at least a new accelerator pump. Prob due to the fact the truck
has sat for more about 6 months parked up till a few months ago.
