This is an excellent truck in great condition with only 3 previous owners. The truck runs perfect with no known mechanical issues. Serviced recently, CV joints replaced. Belts replaced when I brought it at 143000 miles. Drives well in 2WD and 4WD. Exterior and paint job are in good condition, one small crack/hole in the front fender but mint condition other than that. Windscreen is good, no cracks. CD player/ radio, front and rear speakers. AC and heaters work well, also has fully adjustable power seat and adjustable peddles. Interior is in good condition for its age, no cracks or breaks in any of the consoles etc. Upholstery is in good conditions, few very minor marks and stains but clean overall. Truck has 7 seats in a 2-3-2 formation. Back 2 seats fold down fully flat, then middle three fold almost flat. You can fit a double mattress in the back and sleep in it quite comfortably. Truck has nice alloy wheels and tires with ware left on them.
I purchased the truck in December 2016 in LA from an owner who had only had it for 6 months. Prior to that it spent its entire life with one careful owner in Arizona. I got the Carfax report done when I brought the car and it showed regular servicing for the life of the car, unfortunately the report has expired so I can't provide it, but feel free to order your own to confirm details. There is no money owing or lien on the car. I am selling as I no longer require it as I am getting a work vehicle through a new job.
Vehicle has valid tags until 20th of November 2017. Smog checked passed.
The only problems I know of with the truck are some minor electrical faults. The "Door Ajar" light is constantly on, perhaps due to a faulty sensor in one of the doors. The ABS service light is sometimes on and has been like that since before I brought it. When I brought it I had a diagnostic done on it and it returned error code of C1235 which is "right rear speed sensor input missing". According to a few mechanics and Google, this is a common problem on the 2002-07 Explorers. The sensors become dirty and fail, causing the ABS service light to come on. This can be fixed cheaply by replacing the sensor but I have not had the time to look into doing it and since it does not affect the operation of the vehicle it has not bothered me.
