2001 Ford F-150 XL Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door Description

THE GOODThis F150 is a work truck with 2 fender mounted tool boxes that run the length of the bed and a WORKING Tommy Lift with the control on the side of the lift (no remote). The bed of the truck has had diamond plate steel welded into it along with 2 levels of tie down bars. It has heavy load tires with at least 75% tread left. Excellent for moving anything from pool tables to appliances.
THE BAD (which is not to bad if your mechanically inclined especially for the price)The engine was replaced once at 120,000 miles and the transmission at 160,000 which means they both still have high miles. Also the vehicle has been sitting for over a year.Engine: runs but rough, might need a coil or 2 replaced (it had a few replaced in its lifetime) Power steering pump needs replacing (works but you can hear it straining) AC worked when it was parked Needs a batteryTransmission: Still works but has a pretty severe leak. I'm 90% sure the housing isn't cracked and that its just a seal from sitting.
Other than that the interior is in pretty good shape especially for the mileage, no significant rips or tears and could probably be cleaned up fairly nicely. The body is in descent shape with a few nicks, scratches and very minor cosmetic damage (what you would expect from a work truck like this). It has also been garage kept its entire life and always been in the south so there's no salt damage or rust and is a one owner vehicle. It could probably be driven a very SHORT distance to its new home but would need a battery and tranny fluid and power steering fluid. For any distances I would recommend a trailer or tow truck. Any questions feel free to contact me and I will respond as soon as I can. There is no reserve so Happy Bidding.
