2003 Ford F-350 XL Description

This is a solid 2003 Ford F-350 XL four-wheel drive truck, with the 6.0 Liter Powerstroke turbo diesel and a full 8 foot bed. The engine runs great, and there is no blowback or vapor when she's running and it passed emissions in January by a landslide. The transmission shifts smoothly and it is fun to drive. The length of the truck, with a crewcab and large bed mean it hauls and tows smoothly, with your family, friends or coworkers along for the ride. I believe it is OEM aside from the exceptions described in this listing. Options include CD player and cruise control.
I believe this truck was used for their businesses by the previous owners and was well and regularly maintained. The previous owners told me they had replaced the turbo and fuel injectors. In the three years and 20,000 miles she's been mine, she's only had synthetic oil and I've added cetane to the diesel. She has new glow plugs, a new front end: ball joints, tie rods and ends and bearings. I also had the shop replace the dash instrumentation cluster, oil injector control pressure switch and more. There are zero leaks. It's a great foundation to further customize, as well as a reliable and powerful option to tow your toys anywhere you want, or ready to go as is as a work truck. I love this truck and am only selling it because I bought a new F350 and I need the parking space. I believe you could buy this truck and drive it home drive across the country without issue, but, of course, that is not guaranteed.
Recent upgrades include:

18" wheels and off-road tires (the speedo was reprogrammed to remain accurate)
Rough Country Steering Stabilizer Kit
2 Inch lift leveling kit
LED tail and bed lights
Custom headlights (which, to be honest, aren't bright enough)
Light bar with 4 KC lights (these are plenty bright)
High performance drilled front rotors and ceramic brakes (I have the pair for the back axle but haven't installed them yet; they are included with the truck)
SCT Tuner with custom tunes

She has a few imperfections:

A/C stopped working recently
ABS doesn't work and light is on
The paint is imperfect and has been touched up, as you can see in the pictures
She has some minor dents and dings, as you can see in the pictures
The rhinoline in the bed is starting to peel in the passenger rear corner and there is some surface rust
The auto 4x4 hub airlock isn't working, but four-wheel drive gets you through anything with these tires when you turn the hubs by hand
She is designed toseat six with two bench seats, but the front center seat, which can fold into a console, ought to be repaired or replaced if you're going to use it as a seat. It works fine as is as an armrest in five-person configuration (the storage box is weird and some plastic is broken)
There is some play in the steering. The mechanic suggested that the steering box will eventually need to be repaired or replaced, which look on eBay to be $2-300 for a DIY'er. I don't find it a problem to drive but it's noticeable when I switch between my new F350.
I don't have a matching spare for the new tires and wheels (but 5 smaller ones)

About the transaction
The minimum bid price is what a dealer offered me for this truck last week plus what I can get selling the bonus items (wheels, toolbox, tuner) separately. Of course, they would make a profit or they wouldn't do it, so I think this will be a good value to the successful bidder.I have the title in hand, clean and clear.
