1998 SVT COBRA MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE

Very good condition all stock, very low production 1998 SVT Cobra Mustang Convertible. 69,434 miles. One of 40 Crystal White/White convertible top/Saddle interior Cobras built in 1998. The Mustang is equiped with every available option:

I am the 2nd owner.I purchased the car in 2007.It was bought new by an older gentleman at North Hollywood Ford (Now Sunrise Ford).The car has spent it’s complete life in Southern California.(greater Los Angeles area) It has been garage kept under a cover for as long as I have owned it. This car is fully documented since day one.Not only do I have the all the documentation and maintenance records since I have owned it I have all the documentation and maintenance records from the first owner.This includes the window price tag, SVT certificate, and every maintenance receipt on the car since it drove off the lot.This all comes with the car.

I have changed the oil with synthetic motor oil every 3000 miles since I have owned the car, as has the original owner.Along with the oil changes I replaced the cooling fan in 2012; clutch and throwout bearing in 2013; major tune up(New plugs and factory oem plug wires, fuel filter); fan belt adjuster and four wheel brake job (pads and re-surface brake rotors) in 2016 ; new factory oem fuel pump and Motorcraft battery two weeks ago.

The rear tires have 12,200 miles on them (installed on car in April 2014), the front tires about 25,000.As the front tires still had plenty of wear on them so I kept them on the car when I when I replaced the rear tires.The other two brand new, still in the box Ford Motorsports Cobra R wheels and center caps come with the car, as do the original SVT wheels and center caps.The rear wheels do have some chipsand scratched on them, thanks to someone trying to take the Cobra R center caps without asking my permission.

The drivers and passenger seat leather is in good condition, and the back seat look like no one has ever sat it. The car is equipped with a KarKraft wide deflector.I have treated the leather with Mother’s leather conditioner at least six times a year since I have owned the car.

The convertible top is in good shape and the top funtions just fine. However the a right side guide wire has come lose and needs to be re-stitched (see photos) which can be done at a converible top shops. The original factory convertible boot comes with the car.

As do the orignal carpet floor mats and Ford “Pony” carpet floor mats. A California Car Covers car cover made specifically to fit this Mustang is also included. The cover was purchased in October of 2016.

The car has never been in an accident. The spare tire and jack have never been used.

The paint is in very good condition. This car has been well-kept.I hand washed the car (no soap) and I have regularly polished the paint. The, trim and window seals are not oxidized.

The car is completely stock. Never modified. I have not raced or abused the car.Responsible adult driven miles only. Title is clean and clear and I have the title slip.

A $500.00 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction, and is responsible for pickup or shipping.

Pay Pal is preferred but you can easily over night a verifiable cashiers check or money order. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, or sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.

Buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping of this vehicle. The car is located in the Southern California region. Ican keep vehicle at this location for up to two weeks at after sale date so if you need longer than this time I will work with you. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, I will gladly cooperate with your shipper on a pick up timethat'sgood for them and myself!
