1961 Thunderbird Convertible. Owned since 1988, has been in dry storage for at least 35 years. Original Red on Red, no A/C, PS, PW, Auto, 390 4bbl V8
After parting out dozens of cars, the best sheet metal available needed to finish this car was put aside for this project. Nice Package Tray,Trunk lid and correct hood installed. Windshield in safe storage. Passenger compartment floors solid and original - have been painted with POR-15 and new padding, carpet installed.
Frame is solid - Trunk floor needs rust repair, lip where flip lid lays needs to be repaired - patch panels (pictured) from parts car goes with the project car.
Bumpers, Hood, Flip Lid, Top Frame, Skirts, Air Cleaner, All Trim, all Convertible electric and mechanical internal parts (Flip Lid Mechanism, Top Pump, solenoids, switches etc), Two extra solid doors provided with car. This is a complete project car. Fenders, Doors, Trunk lid, flip lid, hood and package tray have been stripped in preparation for body work
Car ran and drove when parked before body work started. Should be gone over mechanically completely (brakes, carb, etc.) to put it back on the road.
