1965 Ford Falcon Club Wagon Description

1965 Ford Econoline Falcon Club Wagon!Mint all original untouched, unmolested survivor surf van! I have enjoyed this amazing van for several years now. I followed my heart, (but not my pocketbook!) and bought a beautiful split-window VW van. Now I need to part with "Jerry the Van" my prized Econoline.
For those in the know, these Ford's are becoming more and more collectible. But try finding one that has not been messed with! And, one that has just a little over 60k miles, all documented and all original!
I looked for about two years before I found "Jerry" and having been a car-collector for many years, I was stunned (and pleased!) by the incredible condition of this great old Ford van. I purchased the van from the son of the original owner. The van had been carefully stored for almost 20 years and when the son decided to get the van back on the road, he replaced the gas tank, rebuilt the carb, installed new tires, shocks, fuel lines and hoses and re-did the brakes among many other items to get the car running like the low-mileage beauty it is! He told me about 4k was invested in getting the van back on the highway!
The van is named "Jerry" as that was the original owners name. He's been in North County San Diego the last few years with me, always garaged and pampered. I've used him for local surf runs, hardware store trips, scenic coast highway jaunts, trips down the freeway to San Diego or out to East County and Poway.
This van runs exactly as it should, smooth and crisp. The 3-speed-on-the-tree has tall gears and a strong (and young 66k mile original engine) that powers it delightfully! 75mph is easily attained; though 60-65 mph is the "comfort zone" for this rig. With the many windows that all open up, it's a "breeze" literally to drive it, as all the fresh, cool air rushes inside and cools the driver and the interior!
Every door sticker, sales handbook, dealer plastic 'credit card' ID tag, paperwork, comes with this amazing survivor! I even have a set of cool curtains made by the original owner's wife, back in 1965 and they are in great shape. On the floor on the rear and center interior of the van is some crazy mid-60's shag carpeting also install by the original owner in 1965. I decided to keep it there, to accent the time-travel nature of this Econoline van, however, the metal underneath is perfect shape!
No rust in this van at all! Have clean CA title in hand.
The price I am asking is VERY FAIR for an all-original 1965 Ford Falcon Club Wagon. I defy you to find ONE like this van listed anywhere----all original survivor examples like this van are simply never seen! And in perfect running condition! Get in and drive it to the beach or across the country on a vintage road trip!
NADA collector car values list a 1965 Ford Falcon Club Wagon Econoline Van at:
LOW RETAIL: $5,648.00 AVERAGE RETAIL: $10,440.00 HIGH RETAIL: $22,050.00
I firmly believe this van to be worth the upper high retail pricing, due to it's complete, untouched originality. I've priced it to SELL at a very fair reserve. This Ford Econoline is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction should it sell locally.
Please understand that this is a rare, collectible, investment quality Ford Van.
That said, I don't want to hear low-balls, or trade offers for your rusty lawnmower or your Mother-in-Law! Be respectful, thanks!
